Magellanes Penguin Tour from Punta Arenas

This is a full day Penguin tour advertised but only 1.5 hours is actually seeing penguins. The rest of the time is driving for at least 5 hours and 3 hours ferry ride and stopping at a small museum and a couple parks with some cultural interest plus lunch and restroom stops. Pick up was at about 7:30am and 9:30pm drop off, a very long day. The tour was done in Spanish, and so I didn’t get much out of it even though we signed up for English. The tour guide was nice to translate a few things, but the rest of the clients are Spanish speaking only. If anyone is interested in the penguin tour, do a half day one and get the same out of it, less time sitting in the van all day, pay much less, and be done at about 3 to 4 pm. There really is nothing to see on Tierra De Fuego other than the Penguin Tour.

Dear The guides speak English and Spanish. As it is a tour where there are people who speak in Spanish and English. The two languages are spoken. You cannot speak more in English With regard to the hours of travel impossible to be able to do it in less hours, there is a ferry crossing of several hours round trip and in the city of Porvenir the penguins are more than 3 hours round trip
