Great show in a nice little cozy theater in Leblon. Band and music was great and the performers amazing! Very fun and enjoyable. I chose the dinner option but I wouldnt select it, it was just an average Churrascaria in Copacabana.

Well. I’ll just start from the beginning. Driver from the get was very unprofessional, not nicely dressed, couldn’t tell he was with the tour. His driving was absolutely sickening, literally via the couple before us. Apparently he had been driving for an hour trying to locate our hotel which isn’t hard to find. After 20 mins of jerking around we get to the restaurant which is just ok. He takes us to the show and we arrive late and have to sit in the back. The show started off pretty rough, and maybe it’s because I’m a dancer, but the music was horribly off beat and the dancers were not in sync and lacked technique. The zouk lambada looked wild and untrained. It got a lot better towards the second half, the capoeira and malandro probably the best. Then it ended so awkwardly in funk dancing. I love funk baile, but it was an eye sour. Everyone was trying to faz quadradinho and twerk but to their own beat and freestyle. It was a hot mess. Plus I felt bad for the older audience as I’m sure it made them quite uncomfortable. The show ends and we have to walk outside in the rain and look for our driver. He finally pops out and the van stinks like cigarettes. Then he starts driving and continues watching his movie (while driving!) and we listen to it the entire way back. So unbelievably unprofessional. Overall I would say keep your $100 and go to casa da feijoada for a nice dinner then go to a samba school rehearsal at salgueiro for a true Brazilian experience.

Did not have high expectations for this one, and was very pleasantly surprised. Its almost like local theatre that you might find in the US. The costumes and music and acrobatics were all fantastic. The cast members bring the audience up on stage at the end which was also a great, great treat. Highly recommend.

Our English-speaking guide we were promised was replaced by a German-speaking one. Though the person assigned became ill an adequate substitute should have been provided. Guide was late and not appropriately dressed. The show was adequate but not spectacular. Dinner was okay, but no English menus.

Due to weather condition, our plane arrived late and we couldn’t go, contacted Viator numerous time to reschedule it, Biator never called back to us and did not reschedule so unfortunately we could not see the show. Be careful when you are booking with Viator

This show is NOT worth the money. The only thing good about it is the dinner at the Brazilian Churrasqueria. The show itself is very low quality, and the venue is nothing more than a conference room turned into an improvised stage at the Marriot Hotel. Although I purchased the tickets in advance, seats were not reserved, and me and my friends were seated at a high bar table on the side of the stage with an obstructed view. I won't recommend this show.

Then whole show was very good and lots of fun, although the setting seems very improvised and diminished what was really a good show. Hopefully the hotel Will Improve the accomodations to make this show truly memorable

It was a nice show that kept the crowd interested. Everyone seemed happy with the experience. Remember that the dinner option must be selected when the reservation is made. I had to purchase it by logging into the Viator website.

Our tour guide and driver were a bit tardy, but overall this was a fantastic event. We had dinner at a Brazilian barbecue place. The food was just ok, but much of the meat was overcooked and dry. The staff were friendly and prompt at bringing anything requested. The drinks were also delicious. The Ginga Tropical Samba show was excellent! The dancers were very talented and full of energy and had amazing costumes. It was a real treat to enjoy something so wonderful and we took many many pictures and video that I've shared with family and friends.
