We spent a wonderful evening with just one other family walking around Rome. We had previously met the same family on the Colosseum tour, a couple of days earlier, so the children got on so well! Marco, our very knowledgeable guide, made the tour great fun, and pitched it perfectly for the age of the chlldren. We had two breaks along the route. Firstly, we stopped for probably the best pizza in Rome, and then later for delicious gelato! I can't recommend this tour highly enough and Marco was just the best guide ever!

Wonderful tour. Great temperature for the walk. Marco had some great stories and really engaged the kids with his fun games. Our son is on the hunt for Madonellas everywhere. Pizza and gelato stops were awesome too!

Our tour guide, Marco, was absolutely fantastic! He kept his audience, both adults and children, interested and engaged the entire time. An added bonus was eating the most delicious pizza and gelato we've ever had, thanks Marco!

We did this tour with our 7 year old on his birthday and 9 year old. They were both tired before we left and didn't want to go. Within 2 minutes of arriving Marco had them totally engrossed in searching for Madonellas. They loved the tour as did we and were talking about it for days afterwards. The pizza and gelato shops Marco took us to were superb. Marco knows how to engage both adults and children. He is fun, informative and a great guide. This tour is a must do with kids.

What? Only 5 stars? Our family would give Marco and the tour 10 of 10 if we could.

Marco was informative, entertaining, and full of energy from the first introduction through to the end. He even offered to walk us back towards our hotel since he was walking that way as well.

Our 9 year old, who can sometimes be somewhat shy with new people, immediately became enchanted with Marco's games/challenges for the little ones.

The stops on the tour were both formal/historical e.g., squares and fountains as well as light and entertaining e.g., the world's oldest bank and explaining what different street names meant. The pizza and gelato were, of course, delicious.

Two words of advice: Do it.

We really enjoyed this walking tour. Marco was our tour guide and he was very enthusiastic, spoke excellent English and kept the kids engaged with activities and contests. It was our group of 6 and one other family of 4 so perfect. We had a stop for pizza and it was excellent! Probably the best pizza we had in Rome. We then had a stop for Gelato and again it was the best gelato we had while in Rome. We would highly recommend this tour tour to anyone travelling with kids!
