This was a nice trip but the food a bit disappointing, very slow to serve drinks and was never asked if we would like any more. Make sure you order all you want first time, the guy serving had lots of tables to serve, so was run off his feet. Should have been at lest one other serving us.All in all a nice trip along river with the sun going down was lovely.

This was okay, not spectacular, just okay.

Disappointed and not worth the money. I booked this trip for my birthday and was served themes on a fish dish. The main fish course came out stone cold and I couldn’t eat. For dessert, a chopped nectarine in a plastic dish. There was no indication that we could move to the upper deck to see views.

This was a decent trip which we enjoyed, the boat was nice, the staff were friendly and the food was good....but, the menu was very fish heavy, OK for me - I like fish - but I know other travellers were not so enamoured. The music was OK if a little loud for my taste. The biggest problem is that the Tiber is quite narrow and has very high embankments which means you can't actually see a great deal of the city, so its not like a trip on the Danube or the Thames for example. Also beware, there are some steep steps to get to the landing so not ideal if you have mobility issues.

The cruise took about 2 hours although at least an hour of this was stationary underneath a bridge. Not sure whether this was because it was raining and the staff had difficulty releasing the blinds or whether this is normal. This meant that those of us sat on the outside edge of the room were considerably wet through the dining experience.
The boat was freezing cold expected as the boat was open so would not advise outside of the summer months. Food was edible, wine was slow in coming.
Overall experience was fun - singer was excellent !

This was a nothing special dinner cruise. The food was average and came out cold as was written in other reviews. There was no one glass of champagne--it was a splash--no more than half a glass. BUT--you could buy wine at 30-50 Euros per bottle. There are no sights on the river--there are graffiti-filled walls on both sides.
There isn't a lot of soothing music--there is a DJ who sings like it is karaoke night in the lounge.

Upon entry--they put you in a pre-selected table and ours was at the back of the boat. It began raining and I got soaked since it took over 20 minutes for them to decide to park under a bridge and lower the tarps. They didn't know how to lower the tarp at first--but a passenger yes--a passenger told them how to do it. At the end of the evening--we naturally got our full bill for the wine--with nothing discounted for the inconvenience of getting wet. Not every table got wet--just the ones on the sides and most definitely the back table.

This is my first time in Rome and the River Cruise sounds romantic and nice. This was neither. I wish I had gone to a nice restaurant in town--the food would have been better and warmer and I would have been drier.

I liked the Night cruise. The musician was very good, and I loved that she sang in English as well as other languages. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cruise was pleasant, moved at a good pace, and was not rocky. The food was okay. I didn't taste anything bad, but nothing stood out either.
The most inconvenient part of the cruise was after I got off. It was about 10:30pm, and I was traveling solo. As I headed up to the street to hail a cab, I noticed no one was stopping at the cab stand. I waited 20 minutes with no luck. I started to walk to another spot and could not find a cab. I must have walked for 25 minutes, almost midnight, before a cab stopped for me. I later found out that it is illegal for cabs to stop for individuals. I am so grateful that he actually stopped. I don't know how I would have gotten back to my hotel. I'm not sure how the cruise company could change this situation, so I can't blame anyone but myself. I do however want to warn people who do not have access to a vehicle elderly, those with children, solo travelers, etc that the cab situation can be tricky.
