Your tour begins with pickup from your Port Elizabeth hotel in time for a 9am departure and an around 1-hour drive to the Addo Elephant National Park by private vehicle.
On arrival, set out to explore the vast national park with your guide, as you learn more about its unique ecosystem, admire the incredible variety of wildlife, and stop for lunch (not included) at a picnic area overlooking a natural waterhole.
The sanctuary is home to over 420 elephants and 450 Cape buffalo, both of which are common sightings, but you might also spot black rhino, zebra, spotted hyena, leopard, warthogs, lions, wildebeest, and hippos. Be sure to look out for flightless dung beetles too – the rare insects are found almost exclusively in the Addo National Park.
After a full day exploring the park, return to Port Elizabeth, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
