It was an amazing experience. Elena was an amazing tour guide. We had the best time. Elena was so easy to talk to and made the experience great
Our guide was full of energy, happy and enthusiastic. Overall we had a fabulous day and the waterfalls are definitely worth seeing. I would have some suggestions though to make this day even better. Allow a bit more time to explore Trogir, 45 min is just not enough for walking around and for sitting down for a morning coffee. Guided start to the waterfalls tour is a bit too long, when everyone wants to take pictures and take in the atmosphere and the scenery, you are forced to stay with the group and listen to the guide. Otherwise the tour was great! thank you :)
Krka waterfalls were magnificent. At Trogir the only thing to see is the Fortress. Administration by Sugaman Tours was poor. Pick up spot changed and our guide was not interested in guiding us at all. He raced ahead only gave details to the people immediately behind him and then left us to find our own way. In the bus there was no headsets and no speaker system so we couldnt hear the guide at all. I wouldnt use this agency again
We had a fabulous time on this trip, we were a little disappointed that there was only a small space to swim in. But we have to say an extra special thank you to our guide Ellana, she made sure we was safely returned to our apartment in the torrential rain and thunder storm. We felt that was above and beyond her duties. xx
The tour guide was great, and the waterfalls were beautiful, but the trip was very expensive! We weren't really sure what was causing the trip to be so expensive. For 100 we had a return transfer for 2 people on a shared bus, and park access - seemed very pricey! On the way back we stopped to see a cathedral which didn't fit with the trip not sure why it would be of interest to those who wanted to see a waterfall. It seemed like an unnecessary detour when we were hot and tired and dirty from the waterfalls and just wanted to get back and shower! We ended up just sitting in the shade waiting 45 minutes to be able to get back on the coach. The town the cathedral was in was nothing special very quiet and nothing to see and it was so hot we felt a bit forced to get off the air-conditioned coach for no real reason! If we go back to Split we would look into getting a taxi or bus by ourselves, as this plus park access is probably a lot cheaper and we wouldn't have to stop unnecessarily on the way home.
Fantastic place only spoilt by the millions of people arriving boat after boat on the day. No space to sit on ground and half hour queue for the ladies to discover there's a KN50 fee which was holding everyone up.
If you happen to get a quieter day you will love it. Swimming was beautiful.
