Day One: Morning Sydney City Tour and Sydney Harbour Luncheon Cruise (6 hours)
Start your half-day morning city tour with pickup from your Sydney hotel. Step on board the climate-controlled coach and begin at The Rocks, the historic district where Sydney was founded. Take an easy walk tour in The Rocks. Follow your stroll with a drive that takes past the St Mary’s Cathedral, Royal Botanic Gardens, Hyde Park, Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and more.

Take in views overlooking Sydney Harbour when you stop at Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Then drive through exclusive districts like Double Bay and Vaucluse en route to one of Australia's top beaches, Bondi Beach. There, take 30 minutes to stroll the sand or waterfront on your own, then return to Sydney for your lunch cruise.

Your lunch cruise includes a tasty buffet spread with seasonal hot and cold dishes, fresh local seafood, fruit and dessert. Take in Sydney Harbour's top landmarks during the 2-hour cruise, which glides by Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison and Shark Island. Your cruise takes place on a spacious catamaran with all the modern conveniences you would expect, including indoor or outdoor seating. Disembark at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour, perfectly positioned to explore more of Sydney on your own.

Day Two: Blue Mountains Day Trip (10 hours)
After hotel pickup in Sydney, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Blue Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stop en route for morning tea in Leura, then follow tree-shaded Cliff Drive to Katoomba Scenic World. Ride any of Scenic World’s three attractions (own expense) or simply stroll through the lush rainforest on and elevated boardwalk. Have a restaurant lunch (own expense) while looking over the Jamison Valley and Three Sisters rock formations. After eating, drive to Echo Point for another view of these iconic Blue Mountains landmarks.

Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park on your way back to Sydney. Have the option to hand-feed kangaroos and emus, and perhaps then take a photo with a koala (own expense). Your coach drops you off at the Parramatta River cruise dock. Board your spacious boat for a scenic cruise that returns you to either to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay.

Half day Sydney tour culminating in buffet lunch on harbor cruise was very good. Lunch was much better than expected in terms of quality, selection and preparation. Stop at Bondi beach very nice. Walking tour with historical perspective in downtown was informative and interesting. Second day Blue Mountains tour was just OK: Scenic World fee was not included and rides were ridiculously short except for cable car at end. Dinosaurs looked so fake, mining stuff was ok, walk through rainforest also ok. The show on history of Australia was cheesy. Food not included but options at Scenic World were decent. Wildlife park was really a small zoo; koalas were sleeping probably due to heat in mid day; birds and kangaroos were interesting. Overall second day was just passable.

I can't rave enough about this tour! We had 3 days in Sydney and this seemed like a great tour for 2 of them. Our guide Tony on Day 1 was terrific and informative; lots of great dad jokes haha. We did a walking tour of the Rocks (with the wonderful Catherine as our guide) and learned about the interesting history of Australia. We stopped by Mrs. Macquarie's Chair for a fantastic view of the Opera House and Bridge. Then went to Bondi Beach where we walked to the end to see Iceburgs Pool. The day wrapped with a lovely 2-hour harbour cruise that had a surprisingly delicious buffet and dessert. Day 2 was lead by Vince, who was extremely knowledgeable. We drove to the Blue Mountains. My tip: limit the rides because the lines are long. The real highlight was the boardwalk through the rainforest; I wish we'd focused our time doing that and the overlook. Do the Waradah show if you can to see a nice (somewhat cheesy) play about Australia's history. There's a great scene with a Didgeridoo performance. Lastly we headed to Featherdale Wildlife Reserve which has native animals, some I never knew existed! The perfunctory Australia photo with a koala made a really nice souvenir. We felt like we hit all the Sydney highlights with this tour, and were impressed with the stops and the guides. It's a fantastic value, too. IMPORTANT DEPARTURE TIP: If you don't opt for hotel pickup, the meeting point is behind the aquarium, *under* the overpass, on Wheat Street. It's a bit of a challenge to find, so give yourself extra time to get there.

Very organized. Right amount of time allocated for each part of the tour. Bus drivers Glenn and Peter were very knowledgeable, pleasant and engaging!

Loved the Blue Mountain tour. Our guide was informative, funny and helpful. Spend the money for the access to the skytram, train, etc at Scenic World. We got to feed and pet small kangaroos at Featherdale. Walking tour of Sydney was informative and interesting. Wish they'd skipped the harbor cruise with lunch in favor of more time at Bondi Beach. Lunch buffer and harbor tour was not good.

We loved this two-day-tour. The motorcoach driver was informative and likeable. we toured the city and oriented ourselves to the neighborhoods and sights which was very helpful on our first trip to Sydney. Then, we had a little harbor lunch cruise. It was alright, not amazing, but the water is a nice way to see another side of the city. On day two, we took an oversize van to the mountains. We stopped briefly for shopping along the way at a charming little town and another equally charming town on the way back for lunch and a beer. The skyway, tram, and gondola at the top of the Blue Mountains was a highlight - an enormous gorge with rock formations, dense vegetation, and a waterfall from the top - very Jurassic Park - and a incredible hiking trail at the bottom with beautiful views and the sounds of the forest similar to Muir Woods. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for the introduction to Sydney and surrounding areas to include an awesome trip to the Blue Mountains and Reptile park. The tours were conducted by excellent guides, well planned, long tiring day, but well worth the investment in time and $$.

Tony P was an excellent guide. He was very accommodating and knew his stuff. He even gave us pointers on how to make use of our time to see as much of Sydney’s attractions.

The bus for the blue mountains day trip was a bit crammed but Tony our driver and guide did a wonderful job. Mike

The trip to the Blue Mountains was pretty but there was a long bus ride and it was very cold. The city tour gave a good overview. The Harbour lunch cruise had amazing scenery and very good food.
