Disappointing trip overall. Expected the tour to cover more of the great coastlines of Yorkshire (e.g. Robin Hood Bay, Ravenscar) rather than pure moors/grassland which weren't that impressive. 2 hours in Whitby for lunch and the Abbey was OK but Goathland was honestly a waste of time. Nonetheless, JJ was a great guide who tried to make our trip more enjoyable and insightful.
The tour was OK. I thought North Yorkshire Moors to be more spectacular but it was rather plain. Whitby seemed to be a bit run down town. We had fish and chips in Whitby. The tour guide was polite and tried to give us as much information as possible. Maybe my expectation was too high and not realistic.
It was a GREAT trip, I really enjoyed it! Our guide was amazing, he told us so many details about the region. I loved that it was so informative and easy-going! I can only recommend going on this tour, you will love it!
