"This tour was great for a long layover (12hr) on my recent trip. The driver, Adil, and guide, Lhaje, were great as well. Got to explore Marrakech, shop and sightsee in the medina, rode a camel, and had a delicious lunch. If your goal is to spend a lot of hours shopping, then a layover tour may not be for you. But this was overall a good experience to get a taste of what Marrackech has to offer."

"The 5 star rating is for the driver, Siad (not spelled right)...he was amazing, spoke great English and on the 2 1/2 hour drive from our cruise ship to Marrakech he told us the history of the area. On the return trip, we were running late, so he himself purchased a pass, so we could go through the toll booths quicker. What a wonderful man!.. However, our tour guide that we picked up in Marrakeh (Usef) (joseph), I would only recommend to people who like to speed walk. At our first stop he asked us who the banker was, for he wanted us to pay to enter. Luckily I had brought my Viator paper saying that we had already paid to visit the sites. He had to call the company twice, for he was unaware of what we were to see. When I told him we were to see the gardens, he replied that we would not have time and showed us a secret garden instead. We had just started the tour, so there was time. Also, he kept wanting to show us the university and we told him 3 times we were not interested. We wanted to shop in the markets of Merrakech, but he walked at top speed and rarely looked back. At one point we stopped to buy scarfs and he was not happy and I heard him say that he did not like stopping to buy things in the market. He did take us to a beautiful place to buy our spices and shoes. So, perhaps Usef would be a great guide for someone who likes more expensive things to buy and can walk very fast."
