In 2010, Ireland’s most beloved potato chip brand—Tayto—opened this chip-themed amusement park, Tayto Park, which fast became one of the country’s most-visited attractions. The park features more than 100 family-friendly diversions, including roller coasters, ziplines, a climbing wall, 5D cinema, and a zoo housing everything from tigers to alpacas.

The Basics

Visitors to Tayto Park can opt to pay for entry only, which includes a free self-guided Tayto factory tour, and access to the theme park itself, as well as to the zoo, the steam train express, the playgrounds, the Ice Age and Dinosaurs Alive areas, and the vortex tunnels, among other attractions. Once inside, visitors can then purchase tokens at kiosks throughout the park to pay for other roller coasters, rides, and activities.
