There are some walks which are requested time and time again and this is one of those. A gentle walk through the countryside, dipping into the cool forests
before emerging onto a headland with an incredible viewpoint looking both north and south along the coast.
Departing from the sleepy village of Santa Agnes, we leave the church behind us and soon head into the countryside. Following the tracks originally used by men making whitewash, we can discover some of their old cal (lime) ovens which are still amazingly intact.
We continue to meander through deep pine scented forests, foraging for herbs, rosemary, thyme and lavender, before emerging on a headland with an incredible view point looking both north and south along the coast. From this vantage point with the azure blue sea below us, we can see the tip of Es Vedra and on a clear day as far as mainland Spain. You might be lucky and see dolphins from here!

There are few places left on Ibiza that are trulyisolated and untouched by tourism, magical, beautiful and peaceful. Portixol is one of these places. Only accessible by walking or boat makes it a place few visitors ever see.
Portixol is the perfect 'C' shaped cove, used by fishermen for 100's of years due to its natural protection. It’s the perfect bay for swimming and snorkeling, having crystal clear waters and great access off the pebble beach.
The walk down is on a good path, made by the fisherman’s families to ensure they can still access the boats and go fishing in their senior years. We then take the old fisherman's path up through the forest with stunning views back down into the bay and out across the Mediterranean.
Once the top has been reached after a 300 meter climb, it’s a gentle walk through a lovely fertile valley with almond, fig, olive and carob trees.

A walk around the stunning nature reserve and salt flats close to Salinas beach. Reaching the original pirate lookout tower and finding secluded coves and fishermans huts.
We take you from Salinas beach to the salt fields and over ancient paths. You’ll learn about the important history of the salt production and how that changed Ibiza.
We may be lucky and see some flamingos as we carry onwards and upwards to Cap des Falco (in the 3 hour walk) before heading back in nature along ancient paths through a lesser known hidden valley.
A very interesting and beautiful walk.
Make sure you check out the art exhibition in La Nave at the end of the walk.
Distance: 5 - 7 kms
Duration: 2 - 3 hours
Discover the mythical, so called lost city of Atlantis via a steep
rocky descent which reveals all manner of magic along the way
and is rewarded at the bottom with crystal clear waters providing great opportunities to swim!
Leaving from near Cala d'Hort, we first find mystical stone spirals made by hippies living in nearby caves which you can walk into to gain the magical energy! We begin the descent down to the mysterious lost city of Atlantis, known locally as Sa Pedrera.
Hugging the impressive high cliffs which reflect the colours of the
sunlight, we come across a cave where a Japanese hippy lived for
10 years, who left behind a legacy of a beautiful Shiva mural that still exists.
We then jump through the sand to descend the final part, ending up surrounded by buddha faces and other interesting hippy artwork carved into the stones. On calm days, you can go for a swim.
If you have the energy on the walk back, we can visit the pirate tower overlooking Es Vedra.
A fabulous walk that takes in a stunning stretch of coastline as we climb down to the hippy “rave cave” and the famous sculpture ‘Time and Space’ or 'Ibiza Henge'. Stopping along the way for a swim and to admire the views.
Starting from the beach of Cala Comte in front of the Sunset Ashram restaurant we come to the pirate / rave cave as it’s called. Originally used for smuggling and hiding alcohol and tobacco, but now it's used by fishermen and nudists for sunbathing and swimming and of course the occasional rave!
Following the coast and lovely beaches we then find the fascinating Time & Space installation, or Ibiza Henge as it's sometimes called. The thirteen giant monoliths were commissioned and erected by the billionaire founder of Cirque du Soleil.
It’s said to represent the motion of the stars and planets around the sun - or is it? Perhaps it’s a beacon calling out to say hi to UFOs?! Hear from our guide the full story!
We start at the lovely village of Es Cubells where we visit
the hermitage of the famous priest Palau who founded the
church. Upon retiring he spent the final 10 years of his life
living on Es Vedra meditating to achieve enlightenment.
Following in the footsteps of Palau, we walk through paths in the forest and vine groves. We’re passing olive, fig and carob trees, foraging for herbs such as rosemary, thyme and lavender along the way.
We then follow a secret path which Cosmo, Toby's dog, discovered on the original Around the Island walk. We climb up to the highest point, 400m above sea level, bursting through the trees for an incredible view of Es
Vedra! From this point you can enjoy the views and soak in the magnetic energy of the magical Es Vedra.
Rent a Catamaran with your friends or family is the best option to enjoy the most famous sunset in Ibiza. Sail in a Catamaran to visit one beach of Ibiza Cala Bassa or Atlantis, and after finish with your best Sunset option: Es Vedra Island, Conejera Island, or the famous Beach Clubs, Cafe del Mar, Mambo and Sunset Ashram.
An unforgettable Experience in Ibiza!
No doubt, that the most famous beach in Formentera is Ses Illetes, which was voted as the most beautiful beach in Spain several times. It’s a 1.5 km long beach, which is situated in the Trucadors Penninsula, and it forms part of an ecosystem of sand dunes. The color of the water seems to be a mixture of turquoise green and blue. The beach is very popular in summer, but since it’s very long, if you are patient enough to walk far enough from the parking, you can have a bath without too many people bothering you.
