With a history dating back to 1883, Trapiche Winery (Bodega Trapiche) is one of the oldest and most prestigious in the Mendoza wine region. Along with its award-winning malbecs—exported to more than 40 countries around the world—the winery produces a wide variety of wines including sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, syrah, and chardonnay.

How to Get There
Trapiche Winery (Bodega Trapiche) is located in the Maipu wine region, around 11 miles (18 kilometers) from Mendoza or about a 30-minute drive. There is no public transport to the winery, but hop-on hop-off wine-tasting buses stop right outside.
When to Get There
The winery is open daily, with slightly reduced hours on weekends. Although wine tours are possible year-round, the most pleasant time to explore the vineyards is in spring and summer, from October through March.
