I have been photographing landscapes in Portland, Oregon for many years and have great knowledge of the landmarks in the area. I know the best ways and times to photograph them.

When weighing the options for a unique adventure, family friendly experience, or looking for a must do adventure, this should be at the top of your list. No experience necessary, but you must be 8 years or older. For the first hour we will get equipped, practice, and learn how to use the equipment to climb giant trees. Then we will take off on a short hike before climbing some of the tallest trees in the world. Around 200-300 feet high into the canopy of rare giant old-growth trees and experience an adventure that seems to take you out of this world. This is your chance to do a new and unique eco-tour activity, less than .01% of the population has yet to do! During the intro tree climb you will learn the basic skills of recreational tree climbing and rappelling, as you move your way high into the upper canopy with gorgeous views of ancient forest and wildlife. This experience is like nothing you have never experienced before.

Oregon is known for its salmon fishing and with this experience, you'll get the chance to go fishing for salmon yourself. You'll meet your guide at the river and head out on a jet boat for a day of fishing for you and your party of up to four people. All the gear you’ll need will be provided—all you’ll need is a fishing license, which you can easily purchase online.

Learn how to all about the chocolate-making process, from start to finish, with this educational experience. You'll learn the art of chocolate-making from an expert and get the chance to make (and take home) your own truffle ganache or chocolate bark. Tea- and chocolate-tasting experiences and afternoon tea are also available.
