Take a break from the crowds and hustle of Venice for the day and explore a landscape of vineyards, villages, and medieval castles on a private cultural food tour. Visit a dairy farm and vineyard in the morning, then, in the afternoon, visit an olive oil mill and ham and sausage factory.
We will leave together in a minivan and reach the Prosecco hills, a Unesco heritage site, about 60 km north of Venice and 100 km from Padua.
The first stop will be the beautiful Molinetto della Croda, an ancient mill, symbol of a farming civilisation and one of the most evocative corners of the Marca Trevigiana. We will then reach a winery where you will have a guided tour and where you will be able to see and understand all the various processes involved in the production of Prosecco. This will be followed by a wine tasting with several glasses of Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
Finally, we will visit a unique osteria (the famous "Osteria senz'Oste") with a breathtaking view over the entire Cartizze area. Here you can calmly admire the splendid panorama and sip prosecco at sunset.

This tour will take us, together with a local accompanist, to discover the real Padua. We will take a walk around the city to discover the most important sights and monuments. We will see Prato della Valle, the largest square in the city of Padua and among the largest in Europe, which with its 78 statues is an album of the important characters of Padua. The Basilica of Sant’Antonio or “Il Santo”, a destination for millions of pilgrims each year and a romantic mix of styles and cultures from all corners of the world. Along the cobblestone streets we will reach the medieval heart of the historic center. We will see the ancient Ghetto of the city that with its narrow streets has become a meeting place for young students. Then the Squares, Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta with the views of the Palazzo della Ragione and often enlivened by the stalls of the Market and the swarming of people under the "Salone". We will reach Piazza dei Signori, a meeting place for Paduans at the aperitif and once the home of the Lords of the city. Il Mercato si trova nel centro della città, in un grande palazzo chiamato Palazzo della Ragione, costruito nel 1218. Il piano superiore, detto Il Salone, è un grande salone, uno dei saloni medievali più grandi del mondo. Al piano terra del Salone, sono ospitati vari negozi dove si possono trovare ogni sorta di specialità locali. Qui troverete i macellai, il pescivendolo, i fruttivendoli e tanti altri.
L'esperienza prevede una visita accompagnata del Mercato con degustazione e una visita guidata alle principali piazze del centro storico di Padova.
Le degustazioni sono in modalità street food (in piedi). Considera che non è una degustazione seduti né un pranzo in un ristorante, soprattutto se ci sono bambini o anziani. Non è riscaldata, in inverno può fare molto freddo. In caso di pioggia il mercato è coperto.
