It begins in Calafate at 08.00, 50 kms are traveled to the Roca Lake, we embark on a semi-rigid cabin with capacity for 17 people. After navigating for 45 minutes, we arrive at the southern head of the South Arm, where the first stage of the trek begins to arrive at Frías Lake, where we embark on gomones with capacity for 7 people with whom we sail to the west end of the lake and where after disembarking the second hike to the Frías / Dickson Glacier ends SO of the National Park. There, in the middle of an incredible landscape, the lunch box included is included for lunch and then begins the return.You arrive at the Hotel at approximately 7 pm. You walk back and forth around 14 kms in 6 hours. Entrance to the National Park is not paid. El programa, comienza con el pick up por los Hoteles en El Calafate, luego de transitar los 220 kms a las 11h llegaremos a nuestro destino.Entre las 11 am y las 3 pm se dispone de tiempo libre para recorrer la capital nacional del trekking.A las 3 pm los pasajeros se reúnen y se explicará el desarrollo de la actividad.Se proveerá a cada pasajero el equipamiento técnico requerido: Una vez que los pasajeros estén equipados, el guía dará una charla sobre técnica y seguridad de la actividad, se embarca y da comienzo la actividad dentro del agua.La primera zona consta de cuatro kilómetros de aguas tranquilas con el Fitz Roy a nuestras espaldas; zona ideal para familiarizarse con la balsa, el río y practicar las técnicas de remadas necesarias.La segunda zona es la del cañadón. Una vez evitado el rápido inicial nos encontraremos con una sucesión de rápidos divertidos y emocionantes durante 8 kms.Finalizamos la bajada con una zona de 2 kms de aguas tranquilas.
In the town of El Chalten, Santa Cruz, we found the Rio de Las Vueltas which originates at Lake Desert to 506 meters above the sea. Its most important tributaries are the Rio Electric, and the Rio Fitz Roy both glacial (Marconi Glacier and Glacier Torre respectively).As glacial tributaries, it is a river that has the characteristic whitish stable water levels; or brown in case of rain or snowmelt. The water temperature is between 5 and 7 degrees.During spring, summer and autumn (September to April) its average flow is 52.35 m³ / s, which allows to the confluence of the river Fitz Roy, navigate between slopes and enjoying the quiet landscape around us .By the morphology of the river and the unique beauty of the place, two new products “Rafting El Chalten” and “Full Day Rafting” offer plenty of adventure and ensuring an exclusive activity (maximum 8 passengers in each raft).

Cruise away from Ushuaia's coast to this exciting adventure in Puerto Almanza. This half and hour travel to the fishing village is an attraction itself, because it crosses through glacier valleys, with snowy peaks, rivers, and lagoons.Meet up with Diana and his husband, local fishermen, who will guide us in this unique experience. We will go out on navigation and fishing with nets our dinner: king crab as well as known by local people as centolla.The navigation lasts 30 minutes.Back in our fisherman house, we will help them cooking this true delight. Dinner will consist in 3 steps: Beagle dip, king crab (centolla) and dessert with one beverage without alcohol and a glass of wine or a local beer.Once back in the village, we will return to Ushuaia, after an unforgettable day at the end of the world.
Start in Chalten The guide will give you information and the equipment to start the activities on the water. At the begining you will be kayaking through 4 km of calm, meandering waters with views of Fitz Roy on your back. Later you will be going into the canyon. After the first rapid, we will start going through many fun and exciting rapids that will make the raft shake. Ups and downs through 8 km, will lead you and make you feel the strength of nature. The last two km are very calm, and at the end you will enjoy lunch at the bank of the river before heading back.
