It was our first trek ever, it would have been really hard for them to tolerate our slow pace but they managed it very well. We couldn’t see the mountains from Poon hill as it was cloudy and rainy most of the time. Still trekking in the rain was a wonderful experience."

"There was a car pickup at the nearest hotel with personal guide for 3 people. Weather is always unpredictable there. We reached Sarangkot sunrise view point. we were not able to view the Himalayas due to clouds and rain. However the scenery of the hills and sunrise was breathtaking. Thankfully rain stopped & Hiking down hill for 4 km was an awesome experience. We passed through narrow rocky and muddy trails, small villages on the way. the guide briefed us about the trail and other stories . We went around Fewa lake and visited a temple inside the lake. Recommend good walking shoes and check weather forecast prior to booking."

"Beautiful path. Amazing view. The driver and the guide picked us up at the hotel. The first part by 4x4, with a safe driver and after a tea we started hiking. Route is beautiful and easy to climb. The second day, you have to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to reach Poon Hill before sunrise. It’s worth, you’ll see sunrise in a unique place in the world. The guide Gobinda Subedi was extreme kind and helpful and we deeply recommmed the experience with him."

"The Ghorepani Poonhill trek of 5 days from Pokhara is complete, because you trek in several environments, as trail, small road, steps, jungle, passing over several guesthouses and you can see some Himalayan peeks above 8000 m high. It is no easy as said in the website, and requires good physical preparation. During the trek, my guide Harry explained me several aspects about people who live around the circuit, the nature, the climate and provided me a lot of information about the peaks that we see during the trek. I really recommend this trek, and specially, if you have Harry as your guide."
