After making your own way to Cooper Landing, follow your guide on to the trail to begin your 6-hour hiking tour in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
Learn about the wildlife and history of the Kenai Peninsula as your guide takes you through this pristine wilderness. The route changes depending on the physical stamina of the group and the day's conditions, but you can expect to see gorgeous mountain scenery, glacial lakes and alpine tundra. If you hike above the treeline, you can take in views of the Kenai Mountains. Keep your camera handy for lots of photo ops.
Stay energized by munching on the provided picnic lunch, snacks, water, and tea. Your guide adjusts the hiking route to suit the group's preference level for physical exertion, from easy to strenuous. Please indicate your exertion preference when booking.
At the end of six hours, your tour ends with return to your starting point at Cooper Landing.
