  • A moderate amount of driving and walking is involved, wear sensible shoes
  • For the Wadi Rum overnight stay you need your personal items, towel, toothbrush, and warm clothes as it gets cold in the desert at night in winter times.
  • The camp at Wadi Rum is a Bedouin camp in a good location in Wadi Rum, consist of Tents, with beds, blankets , public Toilets, dining room.
  • It is very important to be ready on the scheduled times particularly for pick up in the morning which is between 06:00 - 07:00 - if these times doesn't fit you or you need flexible time then this option will not work with you - go for the private tour option.
  • For the Group Tours Option : Separate tents for separate bookings. The Group Tour starts and ends at Amman city. One Medium size bag is allowed per traveler (No space for large size bags or more than one medium size bag ), Minimum age is 12 Years and maximum is 69 years to join

You have got to do the monastery but 850 steps its a killer on the legs but worth it.
The tour company is super nice so Im sure if you sort that detail out ahead of time, they will figure it out so that you are comfortable.

A last minute decision to go . Literally . Picked up on time and the guide was just perfect . Explained options to small group and was invaluable in making the trip entertaining educating and exciting . He was very attentive to all our needs .

We completed the two day tour of Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea on our trip to Jordan and loved it! Our driver Zakariya was always on time and very informative. The distances between the different destinations are quite vast so having a driver was invaluable! We loved seeing Petra (which is self guided FYI) and the jeep tour of Wadi Rum and camping overnight was great. The dinner at the camp was delicious. We elected to pay a little extra to have lunch at the Dead Sea which turned out to be a nice buffet at one of the hotels which was lovely. Would highly recommend this tour!
Overwhelming area and worth the trip!

We loved Petra and Wadi Rum. Our stay in the camp at Wadi Rum was quite pleasant and peaceful. We had a great Viator guide who picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Petra then onto Wadi Rum. He then picked us up again to return us to another hotel. He was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed his company. Unfortunately, although the tour of Wadi Rum was great, our Bedouin guide within Wadi Rum (different than Viator guide) was very bored with it all and had little interaction with us. However, he is just one of many other guides, so chances are slim to get him within Wadi Rum. We should advise to have your destination pick up location very clear up front with Viator and confirmed. We stayed at a hotel at the Dead Sea region and Viator knew that when we had booked two weeks prior but they did not convey to us the issue of a pick up at the dead sea vs Arman until the day before the tour. Gratefully our tour guide worked it out for us and we were picked up at the Dead Sea hotel which actually was on the way to Petra anyway so... All in all we were very happy with our tour and highly recommend it to all.

Our driver Nidal was fantastic! He is really a good person, he was so careful and gentle with us. These 2 days made me dream, it was for sure one of the best experience of my life.

Zakaryia is a very helpful and patient driver. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed. On the way to Petra, we passed scenic routes and he shared a couple of facts about the places which was really helpful. He was very professional while also ensuring that his passengers felt well catered for. We thoroughly loved riding with him. The visit to Petra was absolutely wonderful, at the wadi rum campsite, we had a nice dinner and enjoyed our time by the fire while a show was put on, the tent room was comfortable and clean. The Jeep tour at wadi rum revealed the most breathtaking views and we ended the day at the Dead Sea which in my opinion was the perfect ending to a great 2 days. If ever in Jordan again, We will definitely request for Zakaryia over and over again. The tours were wonderful but having him as our driver made it all the more amazing.

Amazing Experience

I chose this experience as a solo traveler to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. There was no place I would’ve rather spent my night than in a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum. Our guide, Murad Dasan, was exceptional. He was incredibly kind, informative, and patient and it was a treat to share conversation with him. The people I was group with were fun and added to the experience. If you have any second doubts about booking this trip, don’t! It was worth every penny! :)

Collection from my hotel was on time by mr ahmad al zboon made me feel very welcome. Petra was amazing you get 5 hours to try see everything which is tough . Walking threw the siq to the treasury amazing had to do the climb to get that high level pic. You have got to do the monastery but 850 steps its a killer on the legs but worth it. Wadi rum camp very good traditional food and music ,jeep safari was ok. Dead sea its a must to float in it but very strange feeling. If you get the pleasure to have mr. ahmed al zboon as your driver and guide you won't go far wrong very nice man. Thanks Andy thomas

The tour was very well organised and our driver Jafar was very knowledgeable about Jordan and its history. He was very helpful and also recommended dos and don’ts when visiting certain attractions. He was very outgoing and kept a light mood for the group throughout the whole experience. Thank you!
An Amazing tour

I was a single traveler and went for this excursion based strictly on reviews. The tour was well organised. I was picked up by Jaffar, an experienced tour guide. In total we were 5 passengers. We went to Petra and spent there enough time to visit most important sites. The same day we moved to Wadi Rum just in time to see a sunset. The camp at Wadi Rum had electricity, showers and the room was spacious and comfortable, We had an excellent dinner. In the morning we had a breakfast and Jeep safari visiting interesting places of the desert. Afterwards we went to the dead sea resort to just get a glimpse of the seaside resort. Near the border of Egypt and Palestine. Dead Sea was our last stop, at a hotel beach. we paid 20 JD to enter with a set of swimming pools and mud treatment included. In the late afternoon Jaffar took us back to our hotel. Throughout the tour Jaffar was explaining and showing us sites. We had water provided for us and Jaffar kept on getting us also fruits, ice creams and kebabs which is not included in the price. To sumarise, perfect tour with a perfect tour guide. Thanks Jaffar

Fantastic experience, the tour guide Jafar was excellent. He is very caring and knowledgeable. All of the places we visited offered an true experience of Jordan. We learned so much. Jafar stopped to buy us lunch fruit and provided us with water continually.

We took a private tour to Petra, Dead Sea and Uadi Rum with Viator. It was a wondeful experience. Our guide Nidal, was very helful and friendly. He is also a very good photographer I recommend this tour as well as Nidal as guide.

This tour, specifically with our driver Jafar, was an absolute highlight of my time in Jordan. The trip was well-paced, informative, fun, and an overall unforgettable experience. I would give it 6 stars if possible!

Not perfect, but had a blast

The highlights of our tour were Petra and Wadi Rum. We didn't enjoy the Dead Sea because the water and the resort was not very nice/access too expensive. We had a bad experience with our driver (almost head on collission, combative/aggressive towards other drivers, looking at photos/watching youtube while driving.) We communicated our concerns with the operations manager; he was apologetic and said they would not hire him again.

Not what we were told

We scheduled for a private tour to Jordan to which the representative at Viator guaranteed we would see all 4 sites (Dead Sea, Red Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum). When we purchased the trip, the organizer decided to change the itinerary to accommodate our requested pick up and drop off times at the airport as we were flying in from Lebanon. Unfortunately, this required the organizer to eliminate 2 of the 4 promised trips which was never mentioned prior to payment. We asked to reduce the price by 50% since we were missing two of the promised sites, but we were refused. Although, the Red Sea option clearly states that it is not available during the winter months, Viator had no problem telling us this was included to get us to purchase the tour. We were given the option to cancel the trip to which we did due to discomfort with the organizer and were told we would be refunded 100%. We have yet to be refunded 9 days later - so we've been lied to twice. We are very disappointed with Viator and the organizer: Maljed. Please be very aware when doing business with Viator.

The tour guide was punctual, arriving at 7am to our hotel lobby. We started off with a 4 hr ride to Petra where we got to spend 4 hrs at the site on our own. The driver walked us in and helped us get situated with a horse/carriage for my elderly parents. We arranged to meet at a certain time at the car. Again, the driver was punctual. We drove to Wadi Rum and arrived after sunset. We stayed at Night Luxury Camp at Luxury tent with AC and private Bathroom ( one Double tent for each two persons) because we paid the $75 extra for the upgrade to have a heated tent. Totally worth it since it was COLD. The night sky at Wadi Rum was breathtaking. There were supposedly activities at the camp (bon fire, etc) but we were so exhausted from the day so we opted out after the buffet dinner. We did wake up early to watch the stars at 4am and the sunrise (it was a little cloudy so we missed it - womp womp). The tour guide picked us up after our buffet breakfast and dove us to 3 sites. He was a prior military service man so he taught us desert survival skills as we went through the Wadi. Super cool. We then took off for the dead sea and spend a couple of hours there. Pros: super nice guide who is knowledgeable about the desert and the country. Very patient and very willing to answer questions.Cons: we booked a private car for 4 passengers. The small SUV really only fit 3 comfortably, not 4. We were a bit crammed. The tour company is super nice so Im sure if you sort that detail out ahead of time, they will figure it out so that you are comfortable.
