For first-time ski-ers, it is mandatory that you engage the services of a local instructor who can guide you on the tips and tricks of skiing - believe me there is body-weight/centre of gravity / gradient etc to consider before you can get moving !! Once these basics are in place, this resort gives ample opportunity for us to grow into their various scales beginners, intermediate, expert etc... Absolutely essential, sun block lotion/cream, unless you are doing this to get that tan. Wide cover-all dark glasses/goggles are very essential as well. I wasn't fully informed on the details of the trip, as the description was pretty brief. However, I think i could have enjoyed it better if I knew more. It was almost as if I had to fend for myself, after getting dropped by our bus to the ski resort and given a pair of skis, poles, boots, helmet first time i was handling any of these and a wide expanse of snow in front of me. In spite of all this, I still found ways to make the experience an enjoyable one..:- . Next time I will opt for some beginner's classes and then work my way forward from there.

This was a great day trip. Something fun to do and not have to lug everything we needed. The only thing that I would suggest is having the option to let them know ahead of time if we would like to rent ski or snowboard equipment. We were automatically given ski equipment, and it held things up a bit when we got there. But all in all, this was a good value for the experience.

Not what i expected. Thought it was a tour for new skiers but really it was mainly just transportation to the mountain with rental equipment. Not for beginners.
