Historical Hidden Gem with delicious wine to top off the experience 🍷

We arrived by train from Bari & followed good directions up to the old part of Altamura. The main door to La Cantina has no visible sign to show you’ve arrived at the right place but once inside it is a hidden gem. Paolo our guide & Co-owner is a delightful, passionate & knowledgeable guide (he spoke excellent English) and he was a charming host. It was a memorable & enjoyable sojourn - we were there for just under two hours. It is recommended to those who like unique, historical antiquities with delicious local wine & food to supplement perfectly the whole experience.

Excellent presentation on the history on wine making at this location in Altamura, Italy. I would highly recommend this experience for all wine lovers visiting the region.

Super expérience ! Ponctualité, sourire et partage. Tout était au rendez-vous. Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses très intéressante grâce au musée. Les vins étaient délicieux et accompagnés de superbes mets. Encore merci !
