We can arrange a pick-up and drop-off in at the cruise ship terminal with a maximum of 6 persons. If you need a pick-up from the cruise terminal, our pick-up place is in front of the restaurant "At Sea" a 90 meter walk from the South Pier and 350 meter from the North Pier. Good tour, amazing tour guide

The tour itself was great, but what made it exceptional, was our tour guide Stan. He picked us up at the cruise port and on the way to the mangroves told us about the history of Bonaire and present day life on the island. He also on the way showed us the famous flamingo's, wild donkeys and salt deposits and stopped the car so we could get better pictures. All of this was a bonus to the actual tour we booked, the kayak trip through the fabulous mangroves with opportunity to snorkel. This part was amazing, such a beautiful environment to pass through in such a fun manner. Big shout out to Stan for making our ine day in Bonaire an unforgettable experience!

We had a great day enjoying nature and seeing the beautiful sights. The kayaks were very stable and easy to maneuver. It was a lot fun snorkeling and seeing the undersea life right in front of you. Patrick was an excellent guide and was very informative. We would do this again!

After a rough start it was a fun afternoon even with the rain. The kayaking was the perfect amount, the snorkeling was fun and our guide knew his information. He kept everyone engaged. It is beautiful to be there. Special day.

We had a super tour with our two guides - we were picked up at the port (which was super easy) and went on our tour. The kayak was great and very family friendly (our kids are 3 and 6)! The guide was great and we enjoyed 2 hours kayaking with some optional snorkeling. Afterwards, punch and stroopwaffles! :)

Adventure in the Mangroves

If you’re up for adventure and you enjoy the water and natural surroundings, this excursion is for you. It was a good amount of kayaking, but hearing the history behind the mangroves while kayaking through them was great. There’s also a snorkel component that I did not participate in, but as per some of the other patrons, the water in the mangroves was on the murky side making it difficult to see. I was able to see some of what was in the water without the snorkel gear. For me, the downside was the vicious mosquitoes in spite of adequate bug spray prep. Keep in mind you’ll be out in the sun for awhile, so bring your shades, hat, & sunscreen. Also be prepared to put in some hardcore arm work as you will be paddling with your partner for awhile. Overall, it was a good, enjoyable experience.

Hi Thank You for your review.TIP: Sunscreen and mosquito spray helps against the sun and mosquitos. But a long sleeve UV shirt in white or light color helps against both. After rainseason the mosquitos wile disappear.

Loved it. Had a great time. It was not hard to paddle. We were out on the water about 2 hours with plenty of rest. Where lots of sunscreen and lots of water. They will provide cold water.

Hard but Beautiful (and Hot)

We had a lovely time, but there are a few things to keep in mind. 1. You can not bring sunscreen on to the kayaks with you, so apply when you get there and plan to pack a swim shirt and towel to cover your lap. 2. It is NOT “very easy”. It is about two consecutive hours of kayaking in open ocean and mangroves. It is doable for unfit people, but it is definitely more of a “medium” difficulty.

The mangrove is just beautiful, especially the tunnels. Snorkeling was amazing there. Eddy was very knowledgeable and, best of all, very friendly and accommodating.

Patrick & his partner did an excellent job. It was easy to find the meeting point & they were early for pick up & because all guests were present- we set our early as well. The drive to the excursion was interesting with a view of pink flamingos, donkeys & goats on the side of the road. Patrick provided a great narrative about the mangroves & their significance to the island. Tour was given in both English & Dutch. While snorkeling- Tons of fish to see that hug the mangrove roots! Adorable very friendly young dog & cat at the beach area- so bring a treat!

Enthusiastic guide who showed us the secrets of the mangroves: corals below the water on the roots, barracudas looking for fishes etc. Nice kayaktrip through protected mangrove area. You can’t see this without guide. When riding to this remote place we saw many many flamingos. Great experience, we wouldn’t have missed!
