Our guide was amazing. Theadore was passionate and incredibly knowledgable about the history of the country and he was so very kind. I highly recommend him for any tour around Romania.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car to squeeze everything in, but you won't be disappointed. Even though our guide had a cold he was excellent and professional all day. He made sure we got into Bran Castle before they closed by calling ahead to let them know we were coming/beg that they let us get tickets a bit after sales ended for the day. Because some sites had already switched to winter hours in late October, we didn't make it to our final stop at Snagov, but instead got a look at some other sites based on our requests local cemeteries, farm animals, panoramic mountain views. AND he didn't flinch when we asked him to take our photo with our vampire teeth in-ha! A great day overall, even if it was long and tiring. A must for fans of Vlad the Impaler!

Quite an expensive trip but now understand why, there is a great deal of travelling on this one. the problem is that as it's such a long day when we got to Targoviste the Royal court wasn't open, we just looked at it from the road, could only see the top of the tower, pointless really. Then the apparent visit to the church in curte de arges I think it was called was just a drive by, it clearly says 'visit the church'.
The driver was absolutely fine and knowledgeable and even took us on the transfargarsan road for an extra fee.
We feel that for the really high cost it should have been planned better to allow us the full tour, instead we missed out on two key parts of the tour and paid extra to make it better.

A fantastic and very packed day. Our guide Teo was knowledgeable and did his very best to accomodate our every need.
Since we visited Bran the day before, we had some extra time so Teo took us to Vidraru dam and to Transfagarasan road - fantastic. A climb up tp Poienari fortress takes a bit of effort, but even elderly and our of shape can do it in 45 minutes max. A visit to the monestery on the lake rounded the tour off it was raining and the thunders gave it an extra appeal:. I highly recommend this tour and this guide.

Our day with Theo was fantastic! He is an excellent driver with lots of knowledge about the history of Romania. He also appreciated the importance of Vlad/Dracula folklore. The best part of the tour was being first to enter Bran Castle - we got to see it before the crowds and have fantastic photos without others in them. Theo was great with our camera. We were also the only people at Vlad's grave in Snagov - a bit spooky, but well worth it. We were able to spend time in Brasov for a morning coffee. Taking a private tour like this is great because you can customize the itinerary with your guide.

We spent a long day following Vlad the Imapler. Our tour guide, Vlad (ironic) was incredible. He taught us so much about Romanian history. The sights were amazing but the real highlight was climbing the 1400 odd stairs to Poenari in the pouring rain and thunderstorm. This tour is long but awesome!
