Good show, great food

Pickup and drop off were fast and prompt. Dinner was delicious and as a solo traveler I got a bottle of wine to myself (didn’t drink all of it, but still nice). The show was very good, showcasing the history and evolution of tango. My guide book had stated that the show at this venue was more “low key”, but the dancers had some pretty impressive moves! Tiny complaints: there was a bit too much singing and musical interludes compared to the dancing, and be advised that pillars may obscure some views (not by much though - you will still see the majority of the action).

Worthwhile experience

Tango show was excellent, even better than we expected. Songs by male singers were all unknown to us as Americans. They may have chosen those more classic and familiar. Dinner was generally good but steak was disappointing-a bit tough and difficult to cut. We could have done without the photographer. All in all, it was a worthwhile experience and would highly recommend it for its talent and small, intimate venue. Transporting to and from our hotel was well organized.

Good show.

The tango dances were really good. Orchestra was v good as well. Great costumes. Besides tango dances, there were a number of solo/duet songs. Didn't understand as they were all Spanish opera. Could have fewer songs. We opted for show only (no dinner) but were offered complimentary wine/beer and one appetizer or dessert item. Good touch. Pick up and drop off at hotel was great as show started around 10:15 and ended 11;30.

Entertaining show. would have liked it better if the seats were closer to stage. Too far away. Food was ok. After a seat adjustment because of an insect issue i felt better.

Good Tango Experience

The tango show was a very good way to experience tango. We would have preferred a bit more dancing and a bit less singing and musical instrumentation, however, we very much enjoyed the show. The dinner was nice but not exceptional.

Excellent way to get introduced to the tango

Everything came off as advertised. We were picked up on time, the venue was small enough that everyone could have a decent view, and the talent was excellent. The violinist in the orchestra in particular was a major concert-level talent. We enjoyed that the show focused on the history of the evolution of the dance, as we didn't know much about it. The food was much better than expected and the service was excellent. Our one complaint was the use of cell phones by other people. People would hold their phones up to tape the show, right in front of others, both interfering with and distracting from other peoples' view of the show. This kind of behavior, while increasingly prevelent these days, is extremely rude. I would recommend that the place make people turn their phones off or throw them out.

My Dream Come True

I have always enjoyed watching the Tango on Strictly, but to watch it in Buenos Aries was fantastic. The meal was very good with plenty of wine, unfortunately I did not think much of the male singer, I would have preferred the show to be all dancing. If I had the chance to go back again I would. The pick-up and trip back to the hotel was very well organised.

Hotel pick up worked well. Dinner choices were good, well presented and value for money. Show was excellent. Very well thought out, describing the history of the tango with authentic costumes. Our group enjoyed the whole experience. We'll worth a visit.
