- During the booking, please choose Pickup Location and then select the radio button saying "Please pick me up at" and choose "I don't see my pickup location" from the drop-down then type the hotel name on the box underneath so that we can easily locate your hotel pickup. - To know the exact time and meeting point you must send a message thry the option on your reservation or must call us at least 24 hours prior to the visit date purchased. - We would like to make it comfortable for you so we will pick you up at your hotel or at the nearest point available in our routes. - Let us know if you are not in need of transport. - We cannot assure your pickup at a hotel where you are not a guest considering that some hotel's policies, not allow visitors to access at the property. - The guides will be dressed in red t-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back for easy identification. The guides will say the tour name out loud. - Upon your pickup, please present your printed or digital voucher and photo ID for boarding the bus to obtain a bracelet for entering into the park. - If by the time you purchase the ticket you do not have the hotel yet, you must contact the Customer Service Viator staff at least 24 hours prior to the visit to the park to help you to coordinate the pickup with us. - You must be 10 minutes early at the assigned location.

What To Expect

Following pickup at your hotel in the morning, board the comfortable tour vehicle and settle in for the ride to Puerto Morelos. Get to know your small group while enjoying coffee, pastries, and chocolate. Learn about the unusual geological formations that you are about to visit, a network of underground caves connected by subterranean rivers. 

Each cenote represents a different element: earth, water, fire, and air. Hear about the Mayan legends and mysticism that surround these sinkholes and the myth of the alux, or spirit beings that guard the cenotes.

Rappel down the rock walls of Lu’um (earth), a young and semi-open cenote. Here, water flows horizontally and connects to the aquifer through tunnels and caves. Finally, zoom along parallel ziplines at Lik’ and feel your adrenaline pumping on this high-flying adventure across the pool. Enjoy swimming in the slow-flowing water of this ancient cenote, which is fully exposed to the lush vegetation due to its collapsed walls.

K’aak (fire) is an open cenote with underground currents, surrounded by vertical walls and interesting landscapes. Interact with nature as you paddle a kayak or float in an inner tube amid the verdant jungle. Visit Ha’ (water), a cavern cenote with aquatic fauna and beautiful rock formations, and explore underwater gardens of water lilies in a stunning natural setting. Snorkel in calm waters with great visibility as you come face to face with colorful fish.

Eat a gourmet picnic lunch accompanied by beer, water, wine, and coffee before returning to your hotel for drop-off.

Xenotes

Visit the park of Xenotes Oasis Maya and explore four phenomenal cenotes in the Yucatan jungle, each calling for a different adventure: rappelling, ziplining, kayaking and snorkeling. Learn from an expert guide about cenote formation, and admire the various physical attributes of each type of sinkhole. During this fun flurry of activity, hear about the mythical spirit-guardians that protect these cenote sites. Enjoy cookies and chocolate after each cenote adventure, as well as a scrumptious gourmet picnic lunch.

I recently went on the Xcaret Cenote Tours with tour guide, Cynthia and it was an amazing experience. The Cenotes were all unique and offered a variety of fun activities. Cynthia was a fantastic tour guide, she was friendly and knowledgeable, and a great driver through the jungle. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

So much fun! We got picked up 5 min after our confirmed time and our tour guide Seve was awesome!! The activities were so fun and our guide made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. Make sure to bring water shoes you will need them. I forgot my water proof camera bag but the photographer Luis was very kind and took a bunch of great pictures so we ended up buying them. The lunch was good too! Overall a great day and fun experience.

I never knew how ultimately beautiful water could be! This trip/adventure was so well put together and organized. GABO was awesome in every way, and so was his partner. This is a MUST DO trip! I'm 68 years young and the love of my life and I had a blast!

Joshua (our guide) and Mario (our photographer) were both amazing! Our family are not typically adrenaline junkies and some of the activities (repelling and cliff jumping) were a bit intimidating but Joshua guided us through the whole process. Our kids conquered some fears and had a blast. I’d recommend this tour to my friends and definitely would return again with my own family. The Cenotes were absolutely beautiful and the whole day was a great mix of adventure, history and exploration. It was a great experience and a high point of our trip to Mexico!

Angel was so great he spoke excellent English and Spanish! He was fun laid back always making sure we knew what was coming next and what to expect. We had a blast all day and lunch the glam picnic is in the jungle with so many yummy food options! I would for sure recommend this tour! We did so many things in a day yet it felt not rushed and very relaxing!

The most fun excursion I’ve ever been on. If you love swimming and enjoying nature, this is definitely what you’re looking for. Few tips if you’re going to go: - Bring a change of clothes - Bring a waterproof phone holder because the places are beautiful and you’re going to want a ton of photos and videos. Special thanks to our tour guides Elizabeth and Paola. They were very helpful.

One of the best tours I've done in Mexico. All the cenotes were really good. Be careful if you don't know how to swim. You will have to swim alone with the swimming jacket (that only helps you to stay afloat to some extent).

10/10 experience. This cenote tour was action packed and such a fun day. We went to five different cenotes, each one we did a different activity, kayaking, rappelling, snorkelling and zip lining. Each one was unique and just as beautiful. Our group was less then 10 and was the perfect amount of people. We had each cenote to ourselves. Steve and Gabo were our guides and were amazing. They were so informative and fun. The lunch that was provided was amazing, a variety of different salads and make your own sandwiches, beer, vin and soft drinks were also provided. They provided us with towels and life jackets. I would recommend bringing your own watershoes as they will make you pay for them if you don't have any and they are a must. The photographer was great and was able to capture some great moments. It was less then an hour from Playa Mujeres, pick up and drop off were so easy. I would recommend to bring a change of dry clothes for the drive home.

We loved this tour! The cenotes were beautiful. We loved 5 stops full of zip-lining, kayaking, and snorkeling. We saw monkeys and a tarantula that our guide pointed out. ( don’t worry the tarantula was while we were inside the van). Josh was a wonderful tour guide!

I loved descending into the closed cenote. It was beautiful! Zip lining was fun too even though I was a little scared. These cenotes are well taken care of and the staff was friendly and kind. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is I wish there was more time for each activity. I would’ve liked to do the zip line twice, for example, but w had to keep the pace going. Otherwise, everything was great.

Experience was really adventurous and fun. Tour guide Angel was excellent. We travelled in a small group and went to the activities as described. We were even able to visit a 5th cenote, where we ziplined and swam and dived. I didn't receive much details about the itinerary of the trip other than the pickup time and location. Things I wish I knew: bring waterproof cases and watershoes. They have a photographer but pictures were $85 (unlimited selection) and the terrain is too uncomfortable with flipflops. If you forget, they do have extra in the back of the van that you can buy. Insect repellent is provided on site and lunch was also provided.

All of the cenotes were quite different and each had its own beauty. My favorite experience was kayaking. We got off the water just as the rain came, but being wet in the jungle is just part of the fun. I loved the chocolate croissants that were served as a snack at our first stop!

Had a great time! Our tour guide, Elliot, & photographer, Carlos were amazing and super friendly. Elliot did a great job at helping some of the more nervous people in our group, relax & not be so scared! Carlos also took so many great shots of our group. Best part was the ziplining & blue cenote at the repelling! We only had time to do one excursion while on our trip & this is definitely a good one to choose if you only have time for one. It’s basically an all day thing (left at 9:30, got back a little before 5:30) & you get to try multiple activities. They provide towels for you & you may purchase water shoes if you need them (although not required). Bathrooms also at every cenote. Overall great experience & great staff. Can’t wait to come back & do it again :)
