Meet your guide and group of no more than 10 riders at the bike shop in central Chiang Mai. Then, don the provided cycle helmet, hop on your supplied bike, and follow your guide into the streets of the old city.
Glide through the lush campus of Chiang Mai University, and begin the ascent into the verdant foothills of Doi Suthep mountain. On route, stop at the forest-swathed Wat Umong, a 700-year-old Buddhist temple unique for its system of tunnels. Head inside the underground corridors and see the caverns filled with golden Buddha statues.
Next, cycle over rolling hills, and tackle the steep, but short, climb up Doi Gom. Take a break at the forested summit, and then coast back down via a winding road through woodlands to the Sameong Valley.
Break for refreshments, stop by at the Wat Ban Pong village temple, and cycle through rice fields to a Beekeeping Training Center. Head inside to see the hives, and learn about the bees and the different products made from their honey.
Then, back on your bike, pedal past botanical gardens and hit the same route back to Chiang Mai, where your tour ends at the start point.
