Make your first stop at Dubai Museum, housed in the picture-postcard 18th-century Al Fahidi fort. Enjoy around 30 minutes to chart the city’s history through the artifacts and exhibits, including antique weaponry, costumes and photographs.
Next, board a wooden abra to cross Dubai Creek to Deira. Savor the city panoramas as your boat bobs over the waters, and go ashore to visit the Gold and Spice Souks. Dive into the bustling bazaars, and enjoy free time to peruse and purchase whatever takes your fancy (own expense).
Then, travel onward to Jumeirah, an upscale residential district of the city. Admire the exclusive villas here, and stop for photos outside Jumeirah Mosque, built in 1979 in traditional and modern Islamic architectural styles.
Pause to watch Dubai’s residents go about their daily lives, and continue to the Burj Al Arab, the iconic 7-star hotel perched off Jumeirah Beach. Snap pictures of the glittering, sail-shaped hotel from the sands before finishing your tour with a hotel drop-off.

The trip itself was very good, however, the majority of guests spoke German. This meant that the guide spoke in German for most of the trip. This meant that when he was pointing out different things he could not alert us to them as well as the other travellers. This is not a bad reflection on the guide, he was lovely but your company put him in a very difficult position by placing multi nationalities together.

We feel that we missed out on a lot of information. and were unable to ask questions because the moment had passed and would not be relevent. We were told at the time of booking that we would have an English speaking guide, which we did but he cannot cut himself in two and deliver an acceptable service. We felt let down by Viator.
