This 12-hour day trip to the Aran Islands has an early call time. Meet your group and guide at the College Green plaza in central Dublin before 6:30am. Your bus takes off at 6:30am because you have a lot to cover all in one day.
Your trip takes you to all three islands — Inis Mór, Inis Meáin, and Inis Oirr. Inis Mór is one of the largest, and there’s plenty to keep you busy there. Your guide shows you Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric stone fort at the edge of a cliff, as well as other early Christian ruins.
Inis Meáin is by the far the calmest island out of the three, and you can enjoy the peaceful nature of its surroundings. From empty beaches to more prehistoric forts, take time listening to your tour guide tell you the ins and outs of the area.
Last up is Inis Oirr, where you can catch a glimpse of the Cliffs of Moher and O'Brien's Tower. Also on the island’s shore is the world-famous Plassey shipwreck. Snap pictures of the massive ship before getting back on your bus for the ride back to Dublin.
