This was the highlight of our trip to Dublin. And what made it outstanding was our amazing guides. Nicky and Hugh were fabulous! Nicky is so full of passion for Howth and Ireland, that her excitement is contagious. She gave us the most interesting history of Howth and showed us spots we never would have gotten to see without this tour. Hugh kept watch over the group and made sure we were safe and sound. The bikes are extremely fun to ride and let you cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time with minimal effort. Howth is only about a 30 minute train ride from the city center and it's a must do! The town itself is charming and picturesque, with lots of shops, pubs, and restaurants. And it is breathtakingly beautiful. I would highly recommend you book this NOW!

A fun and beautiful electric bike ride. Went off road a bit with the e-bikes which was very nice. The guide was a fun and entertaining lady! It takes longer to get to Howth than what your GPS says, FYI. You’ll be happy you did this ride!

It takes about 35 minutes travel time from the city centre by public transport or taxi, not including the time it takes to find and board your vehicle. "Fun and Beautiful" is how the entertaining lady remembered you too.

Much More Than What You Pay For.

This was an amazing tour. The price of the tour could have been tripled and it would still have been worth it. Aileen gave little tidbits of history, just enough to spark your interest, but not so much to make you feel you were in a classroom. The sights we saw on this tour would not be available to most people visiting Howth. The majority of the stops were in remote areas. This was more than just a tour; it was an experience I will forever cherish. In addition, to keep this review 100% honest, this was a major challenge for an arthritic 65-year-old. Being able to get to these breathtaking sights was motivational for me. I also felt like I had my own personal coach with the assistant tour guide, Hugh. He encouraged me in a way that I was able to find my confidence to keep going. Aileen and Hugh were both professional and endearing guides. This is definitely a tour you do not want to miss out on if you have normal physical abilities. If you are lacking in this area, then you may want to re-evaluate your readiness for this tour. That said, this was an extraordinary experience.

Very helpful for those who are not as physically confident on a bike as others. Check out Irelands Eye Ferries for a more genteel experience of Howth on the water .

This tour is fabulous. I can’t imagine a better way to see so much of Howth and the surrounding area in just a few hours. Our tour guide Paul was so knowledgeable and friendly it made each stop a fun learning experience. It was our first e-bike tour ever and it was so easy and enjoyable to get around. The sights you see are awesome. Take this tour and you will love it…we sure did!

I loved this tour. Riding the bikes was fun and the route was perfect-a variety of beautiful scenes, from biking along the coast to biking through woods and through quaint neighborhoods. I will never forget riding through the purple mountains as the heather were in full bloom. (The bikes were really easy to use after their short but concise explanation!) It was our guide, Nicki, though who made this experience perfect. She had great stories about Howth from centuries ago to months ago. Her love for this place came through, and now I love it too.

Had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Karen was amazing - gave a detailed explanation of the bikes - provided information on the various locations along the tour and even recommended restaurants for lunch. She went beyond expectations and booked us lunch reservations! The scenery was incredible and using the e-bikes was an excellent way to access the best views in a short amount of time. Bikes were very easy to use. Highly recommend this trip!

The eBikes are not that easy for every single body, and if you haven't cycled a bike in a year or two check yourself out. If you are well able to cycle a bike this is a great trip and of course our local leaders will go the extra mile to ensure you get the best of what our coastal community has to offer.
Come back and try Irelands Eye Ferries, or The Howth Safari and have another seafood evening by the coast after a day in the fresh salty air.

Super fun Saturday cycling in Howth!

We had an absolutely fantastic time cycling around the village of Howth and the cliff trail around Dublin Bay! Our two guides taught us to use the e-bikes and escorted us through the adventure. Absolutely gorgeous views around the peninsula! The e-bikes do all the work on the inclines and are easy to learn. Howth is an easy 30ish minute train ride from Dublin City Centre. We enjoyed a nice lunch of fish and chips before we headed back to Dublin. Highly recommend!
