    Excellent personalized tour! Great day!
    Berta_B, Mar 2020
Perfect day! Dan was our guide and could not have been better! We had seen a number of Gentoo penguins at other tours, so he suggested a change of venue and we went to Whale point to see Elephant seals (a great number of them, amazing!), and there were also Gentoo penguins, a few Magellanic penguins and a King Penguin on the beach. He also took us to Gypsy cove to see the Magellanic penguins. He gave us a nice tour of Stanley with all the highlights. He and his family have lived there all his life and he had a wealth of knowledge as well as being personable. Very enjoyable day!

    Great trip to Berthas beach
    Bosco_H, Mar 2020
Our guide, Peter, is a Falklander who lives and works on the island all his life. He was very nice and knowledgeable on Falkland history. Pick up at the jetty landing was smooth and easy. Trip to Berthas beach was great and we were able to walk on the beach amongst many Gentoo penguins. Peter let us stay on the beach as long as we wanted. He was with us all that time monitoring our interaction with the penguins and answering our questions. It was nice to be served tea or coffee when we got back to the jeep. Trip to Gypsy Cove was great allowing us to see some Magellanic penguins. Highly recommend this tour!
    Great penguin day

Our tour in the Falkland islands with Daniel Biggs through Viator was wonderful. We were comfortable in his car. He was very knowledgeable with a great personality. We saw the Penguins at Bertha beach. He drove us through the city of Stanley to another penguin area. He introduced us his ancestry and it was a lovely day. Well worth it.

    Penguins!
    Debra_S, Mar 2020
This was a great, small group (4-person) tour to Bertha’s Beach to see Gentoo penguins up close, back to Stanley to see Magdalena penguins from a viewpoint above the beach, and to see highlights in the town of Stanley. Enjoyed our tour guide giving information about the penguins and (as a seventh generation resident), insight about his life in Stanley.

Thanks for the review. We’re so glad you had great day!
    Amazing
    Rickey_M, Mar 2020
Most amazing tour. Loved the penguins and learning about life in the Falklands. Fran, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. As a lifelong resident she shared insight into the war and life on the island. We loved the 'flapjack' her daughter-in-law made, but sad it is a secret recipe. It was a delicious treat. Highly recommend this authentic experience.

Thanks so much for the review.
    Great penguin tour.
    Bernadine_R, Feb 2020
Daniel gave us an excellent tour of Bertha's beach. We loved seeing the penguin chicks. We enjoyed his local stories as well. It was a crazy day at the port because of the high swells and Daniel was very solicitous that everyone was able to get on the tour.

The driver was knowledgable and took us to an area where we were able to see hundreds of penguins up close! It was a lovely day even though the cruise line shortened our time on the Island.

Most pleasant penguin-watching tour in Stanley
    moonhlee, Feb 2020
We took this tour on January 25, which was enjoyable and extremely well executed, definitely worth of money. The company named Falklands Outdoors was operated by Daniel with his parents, Peter and Fran. They were highly courteous and knowledgeable of the islands. In addition to the scheduled tours in Berthas Beach and Gypsy Cove, Peter drove us through streets of Stanley and provided history and culture of the islands.

I would recommend no one else but Bertha and Stanley tour. The best tour ever, every aspect of the tour.

Penguin, Penguins and more Penguins (Oh! and lots of sheep)
    Mark_R, Jan 2020
Arrived on a cruise ship and our guide Dan was waiting for us. Had a very informative tour with Dan (even though he's a newcomer to the island) and had the opportunity to visit both Berthas Beach and Gypsy Cove. Seeing the penguins was one the highlights of our cruise and Dan made it very enjoyable. Don't forget your camera and be prepared for the weather. The conditions in Stanley can be significantly different at Berthas Beach (rain/wind). You'll be back in plenty of time to explore Stanley and its shops or to grab something to eat. Had a great time. Thanks Dan.

We saw a lot of penguins, the landscape and the little town. Our guide was excellent and answered all our questions, explained the situation of living in this far from homeland island. We would love to go back.

Four people on private jeep. Our guide was Daniel, very pleasant, knowledgeable man.It was 1.5 hour ride to penguin rookery. We visited a few colonies of penguins.Penguins are amazing. There are @ 1 million of them on Falklands plus half a million of sheep. We had a snack by the jeep.We highly recommend this excursion.
    Spektakuläres Meeting mit Pinguinen
    Maria_W, Mar 2020
    Response from Host, Mar 2020
Hi Sergine. Thanks for your review for Falklands Outdoors. We are a family ran business stretching back 7 generations in the Falklands. I’m not sure which Falkland Islander you had driving you but we do have a strong British Heritage which may have came across. We do make it very clear in the descriptions and timings that it is quite a long journey but we believe completely worth it! I’m sorry you didn’t believe you had a 5 star service this time as we try as hard as we can to offer a fantastic experience and competitive price.
