Franz Josef Glacier Helicopter Flight with Snow Landing

This trip is amazing and such a wonderful experience. The flights are subject to the weather conditions so it helps if you can be flexible. The booking/ground staff were so patient and accomodating under stressful circumstances in dealing with the changing weather and disappointed customers. I would highly recommend Glacier Helicopters in Franz Josef.

OMG this Tour was the highlight of our holiday. Nervous as anything as never been on a helicopter....however our pilot was fantastic. Very informative and very calming. A must do in the South Island !!!!

Great morning and an amazing trip!!

An amazing experience and the staff and pilot were great. The photos from the top were incredible. My only complaint is that the entire experience is so short. You're up and down in 20 minutes. A longer trip would have been better.

The helicopter ride and the glacier itself were spectacular and I would highly recommend it.

Although a little on the pricey side, it is a worthy experience.

On our arrival, we weren't able to go up the glacier as conditions were poor, which was completely understandable. However, although I do understand that they have alot of passengers and alot of re-scheduling going on, I don't understand why it would be so difficult to notify passengers whose flights are cancelled or re-scheduled by text or phone call, versus just asking you to keep coming back and checking. By the end of it, I think they were as frustrated seeing me as I was to keep on coming back to check.

That being said, the staff in general were very good, with Cameron in particular being excellent, and they were able to get us up to glacier bright and early the next morning. The pilot was fantastic, providing interesting observations and a really smooth ride. Overall a really good, enjoyable experience
