Once airborne, the fixed-wing plane will fly over Geraldton, then track the north coast for approximately 25-minutes to the pretty fishing town of Port Gregory, where the Pink Lake is. Here you will enjoy the beautiful views as the plane conducts orbits, providing you with numerous photo opportunities. You will learn how the lake gets it's vivid color from the presence of carotenoid-producing algae.
The aircraft will then leave the mainland to flyover the remote Abrolhos Islands. This provides a remarkable view of pearl farms, a shipwreck site and the very first European building in Australia. The scenery is sensational with blue, crystal clear water and contrasting pristine beaches, the fishing villages also provide remarkable viewing.
