Lost the chance to visit

I’m basing my review on the customer service by the tour operator. Our cruise was diverted because of weather and we never did get to the isle of Guernsey, a huge disappointment for our group.
The tour operator kindly refunded the price of the tour and that was very much appreciated!

We found Jan’s recount of her family’s personal experience of the occupation to be very engaging. Jan’s use of photographs and memorabilia enhanced the experience. It brought home the fact that the impact of war is not just felt on the battlefield. Great tour. Highly recommend it.

We loved our tour with Jan! We had 10 people total — six adults, two teenagers and two kids. Everyone learned so much and enjoyed their time on the tour. The way Jan interweaves history with her personal story made a lasting impact on us that we won’t soon forget. Would recommend anyone traveling to Guernsey do this tour. You won’t regret it!

This was a very informative and interesting tour. We had read up on our history but still learned a lot of new things. We enjoyed the personal insights into history that Jan offered.
