Meet your guide early in the morning at your downtown Guilin hotel lobby. Board your vehicle for the ride over to the pier for the start of your Li River cruise.
When you arrive at the pier, you’ll board your cruise ship. Your guide doesn’t go on the cruise with you to Yangshuo, unless you’ve upgraded to the round-trip option that comes back to Guilin.
As your ship begins to cruise the water, keep an eye out for attractions such as Elephant Trunk Hill, Sword Cut Cliff, and Reclining Flower Vase Hill as you pass them. Along with attractions, you’ll also see stunning scenery such as limestone peaks along the Li River, bamboo groves, and even farmers tending to rice paddies and water buffalo relaxing by the river. You might even catch a glimpse of fisherman floating on their bamboo rafts or fishing cormorants in action.
If you’ve chosen the 1-way cruise, your tour ends in Yangshuo with the rest of the day’s planning in your own hands.
If you’ve chosen the round-trip option for this Li River cruise, once your ship makes it to Yangshuo, your guide takes you to West Street. The area is well known for its ancient architectural style, souvenir shopping, and food. You’ll explore a while before your driver picks you up and brings you back to Guilin.
