The drive itself was amazing. Got to see some beautiful countryside. Our guide, however, was just not as wonderful. Limited information, she seemed to take her cues from us, rather than what we were driving through. It may just be that she was young and needs some seasoning. The trip was definitely worth it, though
Great tour with Malcolm. Informative, good humoured and tolerant of a mobility restricted passenger! The drive was through some spectacular countryside and the weather was great. Regular stops for photography - and comfort were made. Explanations of the areas travelled through were concise and helpful. Music choice on the way back was quite relaxing.
This was a fantastic tour. Malcolm was an excellent tour guide, with a wonderful mix of humour, history, and information about the region, in a relaxed and approachable manner. The tour group was a nice size - about 12 people - with a good mix of people. We were reasonably lucky with the weather too though it was very chilly, even in June!. Duncansby Head was spectacular and it was great to have a photo by the John O'Groats sign!
