Surprisingly Fun Half-Day on an ATV!

This was a surprisingly fun day. The ATV ride winds through the mountains and jungle of Koh Samui before ending at a waterfall requiring about 10 minutes of hiking (a little difficult, so wear tennis shoes!). The ATV guide doesn't speak English and there is no additional dialogue other than the owner, who is Australian, providing a quick 5-minute run down on how to drive an ATV. At the beginning of the tour, I was a little nervous driving but warmed up by the end. Definitely rocky, steep, and requires a little dare devil attitude! A couple members in the group opted out of the usual path to a slower, less steep one. Pick-up was prompt and we rode in the back of a pick-up truck on secure, covered benches (commonplace in Koh Samui).

I did this tour with my 3 kids (13, 11, 10). My 13yo was able to drive herself and had a blast. We went through a river and up into the mountains. It got a little dusty at times so I would recommend bringing glasses- they supplies us with masks to wear for the dust. It was really fun!

Really enjoyed this activity. It took a little while to relax, it’s a very challenging course. Amazing views, also you get to visit a secret waterfall which was an unexpected added bonus. Worthwhile doing it… really enjoyed my afternoon there!

For our group of women it was an unforgettable adventure. We were picked up from the hotel and driven back by a safari pickup. These trips alone were a lot of fun for us. We quickly understood how to operate the quads. Our guide was funny, patient and friendly. We drove through the jungle, the water and had a lot of fun.

If you’re an adrenaline junky then I would highly recommend! Wouldn’t recommend for inexperienced driver like myself but even then staff were funny, fun, lovely, polite, professional and incredibly accommodating! They took care of me, made sure I had the best time. Great way to meet new people. Beautiful views and scenery of the countryside.

Definitely take the two hour tour

This was amazing. I went with my teenagers and we took the two hour tour with a stop at the waterfalls. I definitely recommend getting the two hour tour instead of the one hour because not only do you get to stop at a waterfall in a beautiful café, but by the time that my teenagers got used to the 4 x 4 it was already 40 minutes. So it only really became amazing and what they were able to look up from their vehicle after the waterfall.

10/10 experience !!

This trip is definitely worth doing, the scenes of the route are unreal and the guides are so lovely always checking in on everyone making sure we stop for the best photo stops.. you also get to stop off at a little jungle cafe with a waterfall, highly recommend. Awesome day out. Owners are super kind and patient explaining how to drive, helping choose helmet, car etc and giving driving tutorial. The scenery is great on the 2 hour trip and the waterfall and lookout point are both beautiful. Even driving itself is really fun experience. Well organised, well run and really fun. Recommend!

Awesome day out. Loved the scenery you get to visit on the 2 hour trip. The lookout point and waterfall are beautiful and the driving experience is fun in itself. Good safety briefing and explanation of the driving from owners. Owners are very good with all questions, helping families, helmets, car choice and even provide water afterwards! Great tour, absolutely recommend
