This is a Bus Tour.

Firstly, the guide and driver were lovely. However, this trip description is very misleading. This is a BUS TOUR. There is ZERO hiking involved. You will spend 6-8 hours in the bus per day. This is a trip targeted to the elderly or those that have limited physical capabilities. Not active 20 something year olds. On top of that, what is advertised as “Everest Base Camp” is a mere rock painted in red where it claims to be Everest base camp but it’s NOT the actual camp where hikers would stay if they were to climb the mountain. Unless you’re lucky with the weather, you’re likely to only see a cloud obstructing the mountain after some 1200kms in the bus. Needless to say, had we known all this, mostly that it’s a bus tour with no physical activity, we would not have purchased this trip.
