Overview

Visit sharks, penguins and puffins with admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and explore 19 wildlife habitats from every corner of the world’s largest ocean. Slip beneath a full-sized model of a blue whale, and catch the eye of a fierce leopard shark. Travel from a Sea of Cortez kelp forest to the ice-crusted waters off Northern Japan; watch sea horses play in a tropical lagoon, pet a shark in a kid-friendly touch tank and listen to the eerie melodies of an undersea whale song. Keeping our guests and staff safe is our top priority. We are limiting the number of visitors, requiring advance timed reservations, and managing traffic flow to ensure social distancing, requiring face coverings and temperature checks, providing numerous hand-sanitizing stations, and much more.

Don’t buy your tickets close to closing time

When I purchase my tickets with a representative through your chatting service he told me we would be allowed to be inside for 4 hours, since the only time they had available was 6pm. I was hesitant to buy my tickets for that time because it didn’t make sense to be there just for few hours. But since the rep told me my party and I would be able to the be there for the full hours I went ahead and bought my tickets. Once we were there the aquarium closed at 8 pm and we didn’t get to experience the whole thing, very disappointed. So FYI buy tickets for an earlier time.

Loved the Aquarium of the pacific!! I’d suggest starting at the top of the place On 3rd floor, and working you way down if You have little kids so that they comprehend the above water/below the surface concept. We LOVED every exhibit, the jellyfish, the Amazing sea horses that look like kelp, the sharks and rays and sea lions, really everything! The eels, too!
