Customized Full-Day Tour of Lviv by Luxury Vehicle

Truly worthwhile three hour home cooking course, including the transportation and a complete meal. Tasty and healthy Ukrainian home cuisine, certainly to be replicated when I get home. Also was a good experience to visit the residential area!

There were a number of options included with this tour which listed a tour of the dog training facility. When I discussed with our guide that we would like to go there she wasn't aware it was an option. After enquiring about it she advised we wouldn't have time to fit it in after the ?hombre (house). I may not have read the information correctly but when we got to the house it was a cash only entrance fee. The house is large , a blatant display of 21st century wealth instead of the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century homes/ palaces we later saw on our holiday. . I still wish I had seen the dog training facilities. We saw a lot more grand homes and palaces during our stay but no more dog training facility options.

The driver was on time and gave me a description of sights along the way. He spoke minimal English and was very accommodating.

Driver was waiting even thought it took 40 minutes to get through passport control and everything. Bit misleading that the description says "English speaking" since this driver didn't know English. Not going to deduct any rating for that though since the driver knew where to go and drove very well.

Our tour guide for Lviv food tour arrived half an hour late because 'she was celebrating her birthday' and the tour was beyond basic........we left a food tour hungry! we stopped and tried 3 places with a total of 1 plate of cold cuts, one coffee and a cookie (shared by two people) and a box of chocolates. This was the worst food tour I have been on and would have done better if I just hopped around and did it myself. The second 'tour' I went on with these guys, the guide looked and sounded like she had been to our destination for the first time.....I promptly canceled my third tour.

My wife and I had a great experience touring with Nicolai on July 31. His English language ability was excellent and his love of the city of Kyiv and his country was evident. I think we received as good a taste of Ukrainian history, culture, and current events as it's possible to get in five hours. This tour package is an excellent value.

amazing place to visit, but 7 hours of driving (round trip) from Kiev. Bring bug spray because the tunnel is surrounded by marshland and the bugs are vicious.

This was so much fun! Everything was very well organized, Olga picked my up by car near where I was staying and then we went to her mother’s place where we cooked Borsch and Varenyky. Olga and her mother were very kind and welcoming, and the food we cooked was delicious. It was really interesting to learn about the different recipes and ingredients you can use to make these traditional meals. I highly recommend this experience.

Not much to see. Poorly lit. Uneven floor. Need cellphone flaslight to navigate safely. Very little historical items to see except mock-up of Lviv.
