Bus tour portion: zero stars at best.....Pick up and getting to the actual start point of the tour took almost 45 minutes way too long given our hotel location off Plaza Major. man who came to our hotel hardly spoke to us grumpy, hungover or ? so no information about the process or why things took so long.

Thought Id booked an English only tour. Was very challenging to understand the English explanations over bus intercom and very rushed as we drove by the sites. Bus portion was wasted time!!

Guide and tour of Prado museum: 5 stars! Fantastic guide apologies that Ive forgotten her name. She was decisive in where we went in the Prado but never felt rushed. She provided excellent information, her explanation to the Spanish speaking couple we were with gave time to look more closely at the work she had just described She was very knowledgeable, first rate!!

It was unclear exactly where by the Neptune Fountain one should meet the bus - which took you to another bus for the tour. If you are patient and optimistic, it all works out. The city tour was interesting and helpful for orientation. Skipping the line at the Prado is worth it all, and the guide provided for the Prado viewing was excellent! I would give her 5 stars!

The bus ride was rather blah. Had a hard time understanding the English translation-sounded almost like the Spanish. The Museum was quite beautiful. If you're hungry for a fresh salad try their cafeteria. Best salad I had in Spain.

Don't waste your time and money - the VPT company did not pick me up from the hotel or anywhere close to the hotel, I had to come to their office location they did not have a tour in English as promised, about 1/5 of all info was translated for me and a couple of other English-speaking tourists. The old part of Madrid is very small and compact, you will see more just walking around and reading online. Get your Prado tickets online in advance, and you will not run into a line. The highlight of the tour was the stop at the Hard Rock Cafe and a free soda drink. I was disappointed to waste so much time, because I had only 1.5 days in Madrid.

The guide, Maria, was great. She was very knowledgeable about Madrid. She was very personable and made you feel that you were the only person she was speaking to.

It was an excellent tour, great guide and everything arranged as it should.

Everything was great the only thing awful was the guide, she was grumpy, not friendly and bitter,

El tour es apropiado para ver las principales atracciones de la ciudad. La guia que nos toco nada animada nunca interactuo con los pasajeros, se sento en un asiento del bus y recitaba las cosas de interes como si estuviera leyendo.

It was good and informative. We didn't have much time to spend and we needed an afternoon tour. The only thing that we didn't like was that we took it on Sunday when there is a free entrance. We paid , though. The good thing was that there was another queue, a short one. Also, we were dropped there at, approximately, 5 or 5.30. Though we were told that the museum closed at 8 o' clock, it closed at 7. Too little time for Prado museum.

It was good. Except that the tour guide did not speak English and part of my group did not understand well. I wish I would have been told it was only in Spanish.
