We had a great day visiting the street. My husband who started that he was dragged to go also enjoyed the tour.
It was good to walk on the set and get perspective of where things were in show.
As there were filming on the Monday we couldn’t go into the Rovers which was a shame but didn’t spoil the trip.
I would recommend any Corrie watcher to go. An added bonus after the tour you can walk to a lovely little market, places to eat and shopping outlet centre nearby.
On Saturday 18th May myself and my partner visited ITV studios for the coronation street tour. The tour itself was amazing! Our tour operator Tiffany was very good, well spoken and her knowledge was great. Unfortunately half way round the tour a lady who was part of our group experienced some very bad service from another member of staff, when she was looking around the member of staff was very rude when asking her to step away from a certain area. When the lady did this the said member of staff very rudely said "And don't you roll your eyes at me" to which the lady responded I didn't, and don't speak to me with that attitude, The member of staff who's name I didn't manage to get, was very rude and working for a professional body myself I know this is not something you expect from your employees. The member of staff then felt the need to tell our tour guide about the lady, to which I'm not sure why, the staff member was short pony tail and blonde hair not sure if she was part of the tour guide group or Security. But id very kindly suggest you advise ITV of this as the member of staff's approach to this was not at all customer friendly and was as I can only describe as Rude!.
It was unfortunate as the rest of the tour was amazing.
I’m disappointed that there’s no tours of the interior set. That would have been good to see especially. How I did enjoy getting a photo taken outside of myself standing outside the Rovers so it’s not all bad. The tour guide was very friendly, funny and knew her stuff well! I would recommend this tour for all corrie fans but also a suggestion for the tours to look into allowing interior tours because that would be something that most would want to see.
I LOVED the Corrie tour. I had been looking forward to it for months. I have visited from Australia and I was not disappointed.
I wish there was more insight into the actual sets in the studio, however, it was awesome being able to walk the street and see the houses and exterior. Highly recommended.
Tour guide Tabatha was awesome and had amazing knowledge of the show and was very factual in her information.
I visited Sunday 24th Feb.
My mam, my 14 y/o son and I went at 10.30am. We were extremely lucky with the weather, the sun shone the whole time.
Our tour guide, Tabitha was brilliant. Very informative and approachable.
My son, Rhys, has special needs and is a massive fan, so I literally went round after him, lol. So much so we missed Street Cabs. Not to worry the rest was amazing.
I especially loved that we could take as many photos as we liked.
I wouldn't mind doing the tour again without my son so I could enjoy it all the more. That said, his face and reactions more than made up for my missing some of the tour.
I just wish we could an indoor tour too.
