What To Expect

This private, full-day tour of the Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel a little before 9a.m. Get comfortable as you begin your ride in your air-conditioned minivan to a traditional village and oil cooperative.

Continue up the mountain area with a camel ride, and take in stunning scenic views as you go. Afterward, your guide drives you up to Imlil Valley where you can rest on a terrace to enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea and a piece of cake. Your guide asks you a few options for the rest of the day, including how long of a walk you’d like to take and if you’d prefer to drive, walk, or ride a mule to your next stop.

Once you’ve decided, set out for Ait Souka Village. Lunch is waiting for you and your group. Experience a traditional Berber lunch, including salad, tajine, couscous, and fruit. At the village, follow your guide to the home of a Berber family, and learn about their culture and way of life before heading over to Moulay Brahim near the Asni Valley.

Your day ends with a quiet drive back to Marrakech. Get dropped back off at your hotel when you reach the city. Tours end at different times depending on the options you choose while in the Imlil Valley.

A break from the city
David_G, Nov 2021
My wife had a wonderful experience with this tour. We booked a private tour for 2 and our driver/guide Ahmed picked us up at our riad in the Medina and guided us into the mountains. After about 2.5 hours, we were handed off to another guide (Mohammed) who took us on a hike into the hills where we had mint tea, saw waterfalls, and walked through mountain ranges. We did not bring water and Mohammed was kind enough to buy us two bottles with his own money. After another 2.5 hours, we had a delicious tajine lunch in Imlil (6 Euros each). We were then picked up by Ahmed and he drove us into the desert for views and an eventual camel ride. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it as it is a break from the busy medina and an opportunity to see the mountains, desert, and Berber villages. Both guides were wonderful and very helpful.
Beautiful Views

Guide was great. The valley and mountains were quite a sight, and was able to capture a lot of great pictures.
Three Awesome tours for one Great price
Ronald_G, Nov 2021
Our driver Rahim, and our tour guide Mohammed Boubala were awesome. Both were of the Berber High Atlas tribe. They educated us and showed us how the tribes made living through Argan spices, Olive oils, and other local products which we learned about. The Village where we took our hike was beautiful. The houses were situated in the mountains through wonderful trails of roads tht lead to a beautiful waterfall where the town gets it source of water. We could see the view of the tallest mountain in Northern Africa(over 14k feet/4.5 k meter). We had a lunch at the village. The food was delicious . We topped it off by doing a Camel ride at the Agafey Desert. The price was well worth the price of admission, which I would say is well priced for what we received in three individual tours in one day. I would recommend this to singles, Families, and couples alike.
Unforgettable trip led by Atlas natives
Mike, Nov 2021
This day trip from Marrkesch will be a highlight of our vacation. Our group of 4 was picked up from our hotel by Kareem who expertly drove us into the Atlas Mountains. We made many stops along the way to get a taste of how natives live. The Argan Oil female cooperative tasting/demo was wonderful. Our hiking guide, Hossain, was fantastic. He barely broke a sweat on our 3 hour hike and helped the ladies on the challenging portions. He even welcomed us into his own home for a cup of mint tea. Don’t miss this experience.

It's not a hike
Lubos_K, Nov 2021
It's not much of a hike rather like a walk along souvenirs sellers. The lunch was rather tasteless (carrots, potatoes and chicken bones). But it is 9 hours activity with plenty to see and the guide was nice.
My friends and I had the...

My friends and I had the pleasure of going on this tour when we traveled to Marrakech. Our tour guide, Ismael, was absolutely fantastic and made our experience unforgettable. We were picked up from our hotel exactly on time and from there we were taken to the Atlas mountains where we got to see places that I wouldn't have been able to experience on my own. Ismael himself was lovely and went out of his way to cater to our needs, we forgot to take out more cash before the trip started and he stopped at 3 ATMs for us since a couple weren't working (make sure to bring dirhams with you). The sites you get taken to on this tour takes are absolutely fantastic and the people make the experience that much better. I highly recommend!!!!

Mohamed made our trip memorable
Jessica_R, Oct 2021
Mohamed our guide was excellent with our three year old. The hike in parts was steep and Mohamed quickly built a great relationship with our son helping him up the mountain and carrying him for a short time. We loved how passionate he was about where he lives and it was great to meet his mum at his home. The camel ride was wonderful too. Thanks for a memorable trip.

Amazing trip, well worth the price!
Shelufa_B, Oct 2021
Great prompt service. The experience for the price is fabulous! Our guides were excellent. Abdu our driver told us historic facts as we drove passed buildings and structures. He did a spontaneous stop on the way back in the evening which allowed us to witness a very rare view of the sunset and moon from one place (like wow!) Hassan was very accommodating during the Atlas mountain trek. It was a difficult walk up with plenty of stops (unhealthy us) and he made sure we didn't get left behind. He welcomed us into his home (on the mountain top) which allowed us to experience an amazing view. These guys were fabulous and we had a wonderful day out! An asset to your team! Thank-you! Ps I hardly ever write reviews but realised I book my trips based on other people's reviews so it's only fair to share my true experience.
Amazing trip with Omar and Hamza!! 👍🤩
Sarah_D, Oct 2021
Amazing Trip with Hamza and Omar!! Best tour guides in the area 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Water, bananas, apples, breakfast offered, great banter and music along the way!! 🙌😂 The tour was really well organised with lots of stops to take pictures of the beautiful scenery and the camel ride was epic! The camel riders took our phones to take pictures and videos for free. They even lend you the scarf and outfit so you truly look like you belong! 🧕🐪 bring good trainers for the walk and cash to buy souvenirs! Overall an amazing experience thanks to the our tour guides, thank you soo much Omar and Hamza! 🙌🙌🙌🤩🤩
