Make your way to a central location in Midtown Manhattan to meet a guide and group for a day-long tour of Manhattan highlights. Board a double decker bus and take off through the city streets, driving through New Yorks most famous (or infamous) neighborhoods. Cruise down Museum Mile, where you’ll have views of the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Jewish Museum.
Pass Central Park, Times Square, Greenwich Village, and the Financial District, with a guide to point out the most important sights in each destination. You’ll make four stops to stretch your legs and keep exploring.
See the high rises at Rockefeller Center, and head to the very top of the “30 Rock” building to get views of the city from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Continue to the 9/11 Memorial to the victims of the 2001 attacks on New York City, then visit the General Grant National Memorial, where Ulysses S. Grant is buried.
Explore Little Italy, with a break for a classic Italian lunch at Grotta Azzurra (own expense), then head to the water to board an hour-long sightseeing cruise across New York Harbor. Following the cruise, this full-day Manhattan tour concludes at Rockefeller Center.
