Exceeded expectations

Leo was a fabulous guide who will bring you all over the Financial district throughout this tour. There is a lot of walking but there are many rest breaks where you’ll hear about the stories, watch videos, and listen to the Hamilton playlist. Be prepared to see all the tiny historical details of FiDi that are hidden in plain sight. His tour showcases his storytelling ability and his love for NYC history & theater.

A fun educational and humbling experience to learn the history behind Hamilton. Our tour guide was outstanding.
Leo was very knowledgable...
Aimee_F, Jan 2023
Leo was very knowledgable and filled every second of the tour with facts and commentary. It was very good to have a bathroom break half way through. There was a lot of stopping and sitting/standing that we didn’t need, made a very cold day feel colder! Otherwise the tour was very good.
Educational and very engaging

Leo was so informative not only of the musical as well as historical facts. We learned so much from the tour and visited places such as Frances Tavern we didn't know about. The ear phones were very helpful to hear the commentaries while walking around NYC. It was raining during the tour and LEO adjusted the places to sit so we can stay dry. He showed where we are on the screen as he talked about historical facts related to the area. Our kids 10 and 12 who are both huge fans of Hamilton enjoyed the tour. It was very educational as they have discussed the revolution in school. Highly recommend this for both history and Broadway fans.
Great time!

Chaz was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and funny. Great experience! The music went perfectly with the tour and he did a great job relating to the show!
interesting, Hamilton lovers must see
Tara_N, Dec 2022
Leo was an excellent tour guide. He catered to my family since we were the only 3. We had a great time discussing history and theater.
Our guide Leo knew so...
Christy_V, Oct 2022

The inside history of A. Hamilton as told by our guide, Chaz made for a very informative and entertaining tour!
Excellent tour with a bit of everything
Angela_L, Sept 2022
We’ve done many walking tours and what makes them great is when the guide has lots of personality and brings events to life. Chazz is one such guide. This tour was so entertaining! It’s clear that Chazz has a passion for history and for Hamilton (the man and the musical). I loved seeing and hearing about all the hidden gems in the Financial District that you’d surely miss if you weren’t guided. Of course, linking the tour to the musical is pure genius. It really puts the play in perspective and gives you a new understanding of Its intricacies. Practically, Chazz provides bluetooth headsets so he’s not yelling at you the whole time (like other tours we’ve seen), he takes sitting breaks, and you get to see lots of cool spots. Highly recommend.

Leo was fantastic! Loved the tour!
Amy_R, Sept 2022
Our tour guide was Leo Goodman who was the absolute BEST guide we’ve ever had! I’m a former history teacher - and have been to NYC many times - and I still learned so much from Leo. He was very entertaining and genuinely nice. We all highly enjoyed ourselves!
Great for parent and kids!
Teri_D, Sept 2022
We did the Hamilton tour with two adults and two 10 year olds. Everyone loved it - it exceeded expectations! Leo was so knowledgeable not only about the musical but also about the history. Loved hearing details about the musical that I didn’t know before! We were worried that the boys would get bored during a three hour tour, but they were engaged the whole time.

Then and now

Very knowledgeable and our guide used audio and video presentations that may the tour more enjoyable
Go on the tour before the musical!
David_W, Aug 2022
We were going to see Hamilton in the afternoon but had been advised to find out about the story before you go. This was a wonderful opportunity to learn all about the Hamilton story. It put the musical into perspective. If we’re not gone on the tour then quite frankly we probably would not understood hardly any of the musical. The tour guide Leo was so interesting and animated. He really brought the historical part of Manhattan to life.
Response from Host, Sept 2022
We like to have people on the tour before they see the play. It's like getting a good libretto to an opera before hand.
Great experience for the whole family
Chris_H, Aug 2022
Really enjoyed how the Broadway show was tied into the tour. Leo was very informative. Loved how the show’s nuances were discussed

Well worth it!
Marsha_O, Aug 2022
Leo was an excellent guide! We had a group of 12 which was perfect. During a very hot day, Leo provided good shaded spots for stopping areas as well as sitting areas occasionally. His information was through an earpiece provided by him. He had video segments as well on his ipad. He was most knowledgeable of the history of the area, as well as Hamilton and Hamilton's peers. I've seen the play twice; and now would like to see it again with all the new information I learned!
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Thanks for the great review. We know it takes time and energy to do it. We appreciate the effort. Thanks Again.
