Straddling the border between Canada and the US, Niagara Falls is a thundering testament to nature’s power, with drops up to 167 (51 meters) high. While it can take seven hours to travel by road to the falls from New York City, this tour reduces travel time with round-trip airfare and a local transfer from your Manhattan hotel, allowing you to easily see multiple Niagara highlights in a single day.
See Niagara Falls from the American and Canadian sides
Ride on the famous Maid of the Mist boat
Refuel with lunch at a restaurant overlooking the falls
You have to follow multiple steps after booking or you an't go and lose your money. You have to call a day or two before to confirm, you have to print your own vouchers and bring them with. We had to walk several city blocks at 0445 am, to meet our guide as they would not come to our hotel.
We stayed in a tourist area near Central Park so it is not like we were in an area far away.
My 76 year old mother forgot her voucher and passport as we arrived. I tried to call their emergency number and only got voicemail. I left a message on it and we rushed back to our hotel to get them.
We asked if they would give us a little break of 5 to 10 minutes on the voicemail. We arrived back within 5 minutes of our departure time but the guide left us behind with a stupid note saying we could try to meet them at the airport and what airline but no flight number or time. We did not know even who we were looking for. Do not use this company! No one ever called us back when we tried to get help and they have our money. NOT USER FRIENDLY
I have wanted to see Niagara Falls since I was a very young girl. Our tour guide, Edwardo, made it such a special visit! He was knowledgeable with his comments about the history of the Falls, current facts, and taking our group to all points of viewing both in Canada as well as the US. He saw to it that we all boarded the Maid of the Mist boat ride in a timely way, as well as gave us all postcards of our experience. Lunch was delicious and in such a scenic location. Edwardo is such an asset to your tour company; a friendly and caring man, who not only gave us the tour in English but also Spanish to members of our tour who did not speak English. He was incredible!!
Very well organised tour. Collected by taxi from hotel on time and boarding passes supplied by driver. Greeted on arrival at Bufallo by Martha, our tour guide for the day. We took the boat trip then had excellent lunch at Sheraton Hotel. Afterwards we were driven to local venues of interest and given time there to explore and take photos. Martha was extremely knowledgable, having 25 years experience. She saw us off at the airport and left us with a lasting memory of her friendliness. The same driver brought us back to the hotel and he was very friendly as well. We consider the whole day good value for money and would recommend it.
Booked in the UK - Easy transaction- good communication from Viator and Grey line.
Picked up from the hotel on time, 5.00 back at the hotel 21.30 Full day out and was true to the itinerary given at the time of booking.
Maybe a Brit thing but wasn't expecting the day to be what it was....PERFECT!
When I looked at the reviews prior to booking, being from the UK I was worried about not getting over to the Canada side to view the falls there wasn't any problem at all.
Pricing, We thought good value for money - Being led by an informative guide, being fed and of course the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride and falls.
All worked out very well with on time pick up in a comfortable car. Flight was good, despite the delay on return to JFK (but not the tour operator fault). The Falls were amazing and I recommend this trip to all.
I was a little dubious about this trip after reading some of the reviews but I couldn't have been more wrong. It was a fantastic day - very well organised and worth every penny. It was an early start - 5am hotel pick up for transfer to JFK. Escorted to the terminal and provided with boarding passes & gate details for flight to Buffalo. Met on arrival at Buffalo airport by our guide Eduardo and onto the bus for transfer to Niagara. Got to see the Falls from every angle, on both American and Canadian sides with plenty of time at each stop. Very nice buffet lunch at the Sheraton hotel. Transfer back to Buffalo for flight back to NY and then picked up by bus for trip back to our hotel. Very professional staff throughout. Highlight of the trip was the boat trip on Maid of the Mist - unforgettable experience!
What a great spectacle the falls are but be aware this is an extremely long day. We were collected at 4am for a 6.30am flight to Buffalo. Unfortunately that day our Jet Blue flight was delayed 2 hrs so our time in the Niagra area was shortened. The ride on the "Maid of the Mist" is exceptional and not to be missed. We were then scheduled to go to the Canadian side of the falls for lunch and further viewing. There were huge queues at the Canadian border and it took over an hour to get to immigration control. In effect we went to Canada for 1 hr then had to return to the American side as we couldnt be late for our 5pm flight back to New York. We did spend an hour on Goat Island where you can view the falls but between flight delays and hold ups at the border there was more sitting and waiting than viewing. Disappointing but not the companies fault at all.
We where on vacation in NY celebrating my Bday , but we had book this trip to Niagara Falls ahead it’s was SUPER!!! It’s was a great experience and everything that was promised was done and the schedule wet as promise! Would take it again the staff great from the person picking us up @ hotel to the tour guy “Francisco”.
