Beautiful Colors of Hawaii Photo Tour

Our tour guide DJ was very knowledgable about the area. He also had some great tips in particular for cell phone photography.

Really good alternative to the rush of a tour bus, personal tour with a local and a photo nut. Really enjoyed the day and saw stuff that you wouldnt get to see otherwise. Maybe not enough focus on serious photography as most people just had phones but picked up some good tipd and of course got to see the island. So if you are looking for a relaxed tour with a photo professional that is personal and authentic then this is for you.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time on the Beautiful Hawaii Photo Tour with our great guide, De-Jay. De-Jay was so informative and showed us many helpful photography tips and fabulous locations. Well worth the time. Thanks for a great day.

DJ was our guide on this tour. He took us to some viewpoints and vantage points you will never see while I'm a vehicle. The sites that we beheld were breath taking. He gave us historical facts along the way. Places like where Elvis lived. The harbor where we all saw The Minnow from Gilligan's Island take off for it's infamous 3 hour tour and many others. DJ was the heart and soul of this adventure. Make sure you request him. I got some pictures that are calendar worthy. Loved it!

The day was clear and sunny. We were picked up on time by DeeJay who made us very comfortable right away. The places he brought us to overlooks to see breathtaking scenery and gave us good photography tips. He was also funny. A great way to see O’ahu.

Lisa was a fantastic tour host. I learned some Hawaiian history and saw some of the most beautiful places on O'ahu. She had good knowledge of the places to go and some secret hideouts that I plan to visit when I return.

My husband and I really enjoyed this excursion. The description of the tour was that we would be taken to some scenic spots so we could have some beautiful photos and the tour guide would give us photo tips. We booked this excursion to see the scenery not to necessarily get great photos. Though we did get those too. There were only 5 of us on this trip. Our tour guide Galen was very helpful and informative. We made several stops. The first being up to the mountains overlooking Honolulu. We had a beautiful panoramic view of the city. We believe this was a great alternative to climbing up Diamond Head to get a look at Honolulu. We went to a beach that was pretty deserted but beautiful. We made several other stops as well as stopping at a small local restaurant in the middle of nowhere for lunch. I would give this excursion 5 stars except that while we were at our last stop our van was broken into while Galen was giving us photo tips. The van was locked but the vandals broke the window. One of the ladies had her purse stolen. So by the time we waited for the police to come and make a report, we unfortunately never got to our last intended stop.

Galen was an excellent tour guide and photographer. The tour took us to lovely places and gave us the time to take beautiful pictures without being rushed. He assisted us with whatever needs we had as photographers and took us to a local restaurant that had great food. I would recommend this tour whether you are just starting out and would like to learn some basics or a more seasoned photographer.
