What a great time!
, Nov 2019
Our guide was nice and very humorous. He was very attentive and made sure we knew what was going on at all times. The guides were kind and patient with us making our way back from the bottom of the rock formations at Hierve el Agua. Loved the kind and very intelligent lady showing us step by step her weaving process in the beautiful valley of Teotitlan. The mezcal tasting was great. Thanks for a good time.
Great views and service!

The tour guide was great, leading us on the hike. Buffet spot was really tasty, the mezcal tasting was great. Recommend.
Nice day out, seemed in the wrong order
, Aug 2019
I am not sure why but we could just not find any tours which went to only Hierve el Agua, they all seemed to stop off at points we weren't really interested in. We chose this tour as it had the least amount of other stops and a full 2 hours at Hierve el Agua, which was good. However, it seemed an odd order to do things in, given that the weather in the morning is better in Oaxaca and the pools get busier as the day goes on, I don't know why we didn't go there first. Instead we spent 1.5 hours learning how hand woven rugs were made, this was interesting, but not 1.5 hours interesting. Our guide perhaps should have also been a bit better at rushing others in the group along, we ended up being 3 hours late back to the hotel! The English guide at the Mezcal place was great, but on the rest of the tour, no English is spoken, so it shouldn't really be an option to select an English tour.

Hello cmcra Thank you very much for taking the time to share your opinion, this helps us improve every day, I am very sorry that the tour has not met your expectations. We have received comments about the time they spend in Hierve el Agua, which is why since August 25, we already have another half-day tour in Hierve el Agua, and with this tour that gives you two hours, there are already two options to spend more time in this wonderful place; I want to mention that we are the only agency in Oaxaca that offers this two-person service. There are always different behaviors in a shared tour, and I will send the comments to the guides, to find a way to regulate the time in the house where the colored carpets are made, so that they rush the tourists without feeling pressured. I will speak with the guides so that they are more flexible and according to the weather conditions and local situations, they can change the order of the places to visit. Our drivers who go on this tour speak English, but I will make sure they speak a little more English on the tour. Thank you for mentioning the benefits of the tour such as: fewer stops, more time in the Hierve el Agua and the visit to mezcal in English. We hope in the future to have the opportunity to have your preference again, to know other sites in Oaxaca and its surroundings. We will continue working to make each tour memorable. All the best, Edgar Santiago General Manager
The most beautiful site ever!!!

Nicho came to the hotel lobby on time. The car was spacious and very clean. Nicho explain in spanish and english and bring us to Hierve el agua first: this place is so beautiful!! Nicho came with us a part of the time and let us swim about an hour - it was emough - we stayed there about 2.5-3h, but honestly, we could stay more...
Van never showed up
, Mar 2019
We were told that the van to take us to Hierve el Aqua would pick us up by 9 at our Air BnB. When the bus never showed up we called the number associated with the company, but after a half hour of confusion on the phone with the operator it became clear that she was unable to help us. We will be seeking a refund.
Cool Day with Lots of Good Experiences

The trip was really good and the Hierve el Agua was incredible! The food and the Mezcal tasting was interesting, but could have spent a little more time on the tour. The rug place was neat and none of the places you go to are pushy to buy. Miguel was really helpful and friendly towards us, even offered a ride to the airport at the end of our trip; which we gladly took.
Worth it for the transportation

This was less of a tour than it was a ride from place to place, which considering the price of booking a driver is worth it. The visit to the rug shop was actually really great, I wasn’t entirely looking forward to it. We had a good amount of time at Hierve el Agua unless you want to do the long hike, which didn’t seem all that common. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was we were obligated to get another guide for the hike. No one else had a guide but we were told it was required. We then had to tip him (and he wasn’t that nice about it). I was annoyed that we had to pay a tour guide, to take us to a place, where we had to pay for another tour guide! If they are going to force us to utilize a guide then the company should pay for it. The mezcal tasting was more rushed than the others we did. Overall, I say it was worth it for the comfortable ride to hierve el Agua.
Affordable & nice way to get to Hierve el Agua

Easy, reasonably prices, and friendly guide. Be sure to bring your own towel to Hierve el Agua and eat while you're there -- there is no other food stop on the tour. The Pina Loca (whole pineapple with Tajin & a bit of alcohol is highly recommended.) Only downside was the Mezcal distillery. It was nice to see how it was made, but this was clearly a very tourist oriented distillery that didn't seem to have a lot of passion for what they do.
Worth the trip!

First off, our tour guide Luis was fantastic. He was very accommodating and friendly. We essentially had a private tour, as nobody else showed up. The van was air conditioned and comfortable. Hierve el Agua is amazing, and I was pleased with the hours we had to spend there. Teotitlan was neat, though I wish the demonstration had been longer. Our host was generous with the mezcal tasting. The latter two did feel a bit tourist-y, but we wouldn't have experienced them otherwise and this was a great way to get out of the city.

Had the best time. Miguel was a great guide. Make sure you bring hat, sunglasses, towel, bathing suit, sunglasses and good walking shoes. Wear your bathing suit on the hike as you get to the pools before you get to a changing room or if you are not modest then change poolside,
