Why Travellers Choose This Tour
There are many hop-on hop-off tours out there, but City Sightseeing has been trusted by travelers for 20 years.
We booked this tour knowing that we only had limited time in Philadelphia and the advertisement stated that the last tour left at 5:30 pm. We came in on a flight from Austin, Texas on Saturday afternoon and got to the pickup site as quickly as possible, before 5 pm. We waited for the 5:30 tour to arrive, but when the bus arrived the driver informed us that they were ending the final tour of the day at 5:30 pm.
We were very disappointed and upset that we had spent money knowing that there was a "no refund" policy and they closed the attraction at least an hour before the publicized time.
I got to see the beautiful city of Philadelphia in the 2-day sightseeing bus for a very cheap price and enjoyed every bit of it. The hop-on, hop-off setup is the best as you may get off at any of the stops without missing anything on the tour. Best sight without a doubt the Rocky statue. Tour guides were fantastic and very educated!!!
This is very worthwhile. Booked in advance so easy to manage. Took a 3 day tour which was great value and so easy just to get on and off when you want. All staff were great particularly Cece think it's how you might spell it and Warren
We had such a fun time using this hop on/hop off tour! A great way to see the city of Philadelphia and they took us to places we never would have found on our own. The only negative was it was sometimes hard to hear the narrator unless we were sitting close to them.
the staff did a good job...but the buses are dated and in need of TLC. Its hard to believe that both buses I boarded had no A/C in the lower level when the tempt was over 85 un muggy Phillie weather. Me and my GF had to cut out trip short because we felt it was not worth sweating more. There were some old folks who actually looked borderline heat stroke.
