Make your way to the St Maarten Yacht Club and Bar in the mid-morning to embark on your 4.5-hour sailing adventure.
Meet your friendly, expert crew when you climb aboard the 'Passaat', a 100-foot (30-meter) historical schooner that was built in 1911. Find a spot to relax on deck and grab a soda, wine, beer or rum punch from the bar. Get to know the other passengers in your group, limited to twenty people to ensure personalized attention and an intimate experience.
As you sail up the coastline of St Maarten, the captain will cut the engines and unfurl the sails. Munch on a homemade coconut or banana cake, accompanied by tropical fruits, and listen to the soothing sounds of the wind and the waves.
When the boat drops anchor in Long Bay, on the French side of the island, dive in for some snorkeling in the warm, calm water. Swim among schools of tropical fish and the living coral, exploring the underwater world.
Back on deck, dig in to a traditional Caribbean lunch of chicken, mahi mahi, rice and plantains. (Please request vegetarian options in advance).
When lunch is finished, enjoy the views or take a nap on the sun-drenched deck as the boat returns to the harbor after 4.5 hours.
