An absolutely perfect day out!
Lee_C, May 2022
We wanted a day trip and after seeing mixed reviews about other trips we opted for the Cenote tour after seeing all the feedback was 5 star. Our guide was Heber and he was professional, courteous, helpful and friendly from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us back off and I cannot praise him highly enough. His knowledge and respect for the history and culture of the area was inspiring and we learned a lot which was thoroughly enjoyable. The first Cenote we went to had changed their opening times so Heber took us 5 minutes away swimming with sea turtles instead as our first stop of three which was amazing. It was a little more physical as we were we're dealing with the sea and waves but seeing a giant sea turtle surface for air whilst two fish were feeding off/cleaning its shell was spectacular. Our second stop was an open Cenote which was a lot of fun diving/jumping into and great for photos/videos. Our third and final stop was an underground Cenote which was breath taking. Parts of the snorkeling tour were a little tight for space but Heber constantly checked on my girlfriend to see if she was comfortable to proceed and he was brilliant. We were taken through sections that are only accessible with a guide and it is an experience we will never forget. After our third and final stop Heber asked of we would like to eat in a restaurant whilst we were out or return to our hotel and we opted for the latter. On the way back he said that the first Cenote would be open now and asked if we wanted to go even though we had already done our three stops. We chose to go back to the hotel as we were tired and we had already had a fantastic day. I would recommend this trip to anyone and my only suggestion would be to take some kind of footwear that you can both swim and walk in. The paths to and from the Cenotes are gravel so it's difficult to clean/dry your feet on the way back and you end up pulling on footwear with stones stuck to your feet. You could manage in Flip flops but there's are some steep steps into the underground Cenote to you would need to be careful.
Definitely a MUST Tour.

Much better than expected. Jony was our guide. He enjoys his job very much. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Was worth every penny. Looking forward to doing again next year.. Jony showed us some amazing places, so beautiful. Along with his knowledge of the area and the wildlife as well as the ecosystem. Along with history of the region and the Mayan people.
Great 👍
