Your small-group tour starts with pickup from your central Queenstown hotel at noon.
Ride in a comfortable climate-controlled minibus to Arrowtown, which is located about 30 minutes away. Sample a selection of four different beers at the Fork and Tap, an alehouse that specializes in New Zealand craft beers. Munch on a lunch of pizza and fries to accompany your beer tasting.
Continue your tour with a drive along New Zealand's highest motorway, the Crown Range Road, which provides sweeping views of Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Queenstown, and Lake Wakatipu. Upon arrival in Wanaka, take a tour of the working craft brewery at Wanaka Beerworks. There, hear about the ins and outs of making beer, and sample six of their home-crafted brews.
Next, make your final stop at the historic Cardrona Hotel. Founded in 1863 and a popular photographic subject in Central Otago, the Cardrona Hotel also features their own brew, Cardrona Ale. Sit down for a cold glass of the ale for your last tasting of the tour.
At the end of five hours, return to Queenstown where your tour ends with hotel drop-off.
